Fix the rear signals.
The most common cause of this is the wires going from the front to the rear.
These might need to be replaced.
It could of course be as simple as changing the bulbs.
It might have something to do with a fuse, but if so, then the wires are probably faulty. A shortcut somewhere. Replacing wires would fix this.
It might be due to a faulty relay. Changing this might fix the problem.
The flasher that works the front turn signals also work the rear.
If the turn signals in the dash don't work, what about the outside front and rear turn signals? Working? Not working? If it's not working, replace the turn signal relay under the dash.
Check the bulbs they are double filamented with samller filament for turn signals Could be a problem in steering column
I had the same problem with my 87 Riv. It was a burnt out bulb in the rear of the car. My front signals did work and as they run on different circuits, check and replace the bulbs. Access to the back lights are inside the trunk back.
Did you change the bulb in the rear? Yes. The hazzard lights use the same bulbs in the rear as the turn signals. They work with the hazzards on but not with the turn signal.
On many cars one bulb on one side will cause both front and rear turn signals not to work so 1st check bulbs. Hope it fixes.
The sockets for the front turn signal often get too hot and fail on these cars. Bad design. They half melt and have a bad connection.
I am having the same prob just with the front side turn signals. Check your fuse and the bulbs are the most obvious. There is a fuse box in trunk and underhood.
On one side only? The bulb at the rear is blown... Both sides? Both bulbs at the rear are blown, or perhaps a wiring fault?
it is most likely a fuse or at worst the turn signals and stop lights work through the turnsignal switch
you need a new bulb in right front.
Is the bulb blown?
