first, locate where the speedometer goes into the transaxle or transmission housing. unscrew speedometer drive from transmission housing and pull the speedometer cable out. the end of the cable unit has a couple of dipstick marks on the bottom of speedometer cable end you just removed. hope this helps. mine has 245000 miles on it and still going strong !!!
there is a fill plug on the passenger side rear of the transmission, toward the top. its a 15/16" hex. there is no dipstick. you can find the refill procedure in the sequoia section under "how do you refill transmission fluid in a 2005 seqouia" the transmission and the procedure are the same.
You will need to explain your problem. The transmission has it's own computer and sensors. Without knowing your situation it will be hard to diagnosis.
It is located on the drivers side of the transmission. You will have to remove the linkage to replace it. There should be directions with the new switch.
# Transmission fluid is added through the dipstick tube. You may need a long-reach funnel. # This procedure is detailed in the Owners Manual - See "Related Questions" below

That transmission is supposed to be service by a drain plug like you have on your motor. it's on the bottom of the transmission. as for the filte, it's located INSIDE of the transmission. the only way to remove the filter on a CD4E transmission is to physically remove the transmisssion from the vehicle and take it apart. Ford does not provide a procedure to service the transmission filter seperately from the transmission overhaul.
