I recommend that you do one of two things. one, try changing the fuel filter, if that doesn't do it then step two would be a fuel pressure check and a new fuel pump. Most likely it is the fuel pump seeing that it will run if gas is injected into the carb.
check ur distibutor cap and rotor bug pull a spark plug see if its getting fire then make sure ur getting fuel to the carb
Fuel injected? In the fuel tank Carb.? At the front lower section of the engine - follow fuel line
if there is backfire, check the exhaust restriction....
most likely a fuel delivery problem. i use carb cleaner to spray a little down the throttle body (where the carb used to ve) and see if it starts. if so then you probably need a fuel pump.
One word that deals with ancient greece and starts with C is chariot.
does that year have carb or tb?
This vehicle does not have a carb. The fault is likely with the mass air flow sensor or something of the like.
Do a fuel pressure test, it should have 41 to 47 psi. Has the fuel filter been replaced?
This is confusing, a 1998 does not have a carb.
1985 CHEVY PICK-UP IS CARBURATED... THE FUEL FILTER IS LOCATED IN THE CARB.. BETWEEN THE FUEL FEED PIPE AND CARB. IT'S A PAPER TUBE STYE FILTER. GM# 7028281
With a 4-barrel carb. 155hp @ 4000 rpm
A 2001 Chevy Blazer does not have a carb. It is fuel injected and has a throttlebody. If the fuses and relays check okay and the fuel filter has been replaced, I would suspect the fuel pump has failed.

1985 Chevy fuel filter should be where the fuel line screws into the carb. use a 1 inch wrench and unscrew the nut that holds the line to the carb pull out line should be a small filter ,spring and washer
in 1985 there was no fuel injection in your vehicle unless someone has changed the motor and put in a ecm your vehicle is carberated. fuel injection will start your car without touching the gas pedal if you have to pump the gas to start it on a cold day its a carb. fuel injection in chevy's did not start until 1987 if this answer makes sense to you please recommend me. thanks.
It's lean. Best to check the carb and all vacuum lines for leaks and blockage.
carb problem my guess would be accelerator pump or stuck power valves in carb.
