Fuel pressure should be 60 to 66 PSI. If you are sure that you have 58 LBS Then the engine won't start. And it will do what you are saying it's doing.
It has got to have 60 LBS to start on it's own. NEED to replace fuel pump and filter.
You can check it this way if you want. After it has set for a few hours are over night.
when you go to start it next time. Just turn the key on, wait 3 seconds then turn it off. wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on again for 3 seconds. then back off for 10 seconds. repeat same steps 2 more times. After the last time turn key off wait 20 seconds, then see if engine will start on it's own. Either way Im sure you need a pump.
Sometime the fuel pressure leaks down went he engine is turned off for a couple hours or more. If that happens the engine may be difficult to start later. Try turning on the ignition switch for a couple seconds allowing the fuel pump to build a little pressure, THEN crank the engine. See if it makes any difference.
Having the exhaust valve still open when the intake starts to open uses the exhaust "pull" out the exhaust port to help start the intake charge entering the chamber -- before the piston has started down and has generated it's own vacuum. Also, leaving the valves open longer (duration) increased the density of the intake charge and allowed the headers to better scavenge the exhaust gasses out.
Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the injector fuel rail. Watch the fuel pressure when you start it. If the pressure drops off as the engine starts running bad, it's probably either the fuel pump or fuel filter.
IT starts @ the intake manifold & ends on the front axle.
When the Arab Muslims started it back in the days. It was the Dark Ages for America and Europe, but it was the Golden Ages for the Muslim Arabs that invented and started all the science that we have today. Then the Muslims were kicked out of Spain and all the science was left for the Romans. -MUSLIMS!
If you put fuel into the intake and it starts and keeps running, replace the engine coolant sensor. If you put fuel into the intake and it starts but stalls it probably is a bad fuel pump or pressure regulator. Do a fuel pressure test. Need to know what model, year and engine you have to help you any more.
After the exhaust blowdown is nearly complete, the intake slot starts to uncover. At this point an intake pressure boost is needed to increase the pressure at which the air enters the cylinder, to push the remaining exhaust gases and fill the cylinder with combusted air-fuel mixture.
I would replace the fuel filter and check fuel pressure.
Inadequate fuel pressue probably. Check fuel pressure with proper gauge.
Oil pressure shouldn't register at all until the engine starts and builds up pressure.
I'm assuming you mean an overflow filtration system? If so, then just take a cup and pour water into the filter housing until it starts to overflow. It might take a couple of cup fulls before it starts working.
Started is the past tense of start.
Sounds like your fuel pump is weak.Check the fuel pressure and if its not within specs then replace the pump.
Pressure . . . ?
the boy starts with v. the girls starts with j.
Started.
The one that has started running recently (it starts with a tree falling on a neighbor's car) is the instrumental theme song from the 70s TV show "The Odd Couple"
