The fuel pump inertia switch is located in the right front passenger area. It is below the dash but above the carpet in the right hand corner. If you do not smell gas or have any gas leaking, push the button down that has popped up on the top of the switch.This will allow power to your electric fuel pump.
It could be the ICM or the pickup module.
Check the ignition circuit in the Storm. Start by checking the crank position sensor, then the coil pack to find the lack of spark.
try to change the ignition coil.
have you replaced and or tested both coils? are you getting no spark on the intake and the exaust sides?
A lot of things can cuse it. One is the ignition module. Have it checked out. GoodluckJoe I recently had the same problem,I changed the ignition module,after approx. 165 miles;same thing. My mech. put a computer scanner on it and found the problem to the MAP sensor. So far, no more problem. ignition module was $80.00 MAP sensor was $30.00
its not your ignition its your crankshaft sensor that's the same problem i had.

There are several reasons why a 1996 Achieva engine cranks but will not fire. A few of the reasons could be a bad ignition control module, ignition coil pack, or a crankshaft position sensor.

"Check Engine" light comes on when you turn ignition switch on and should go off when engine cranks.
Your ignition switch is worn out. you will need to replace it.
