do you mean the aluminum bracket holding the alternator broke at the bolt holes? do you know that there should be a steel bracket BEHIND the alternator also? when engine usually replaced, sometimes this steel bracket is not replaced and instead a shorter bolt is used to fasten alternator (3 bolts) to aluminum bracket. there should be a longer bolt which goes from the front of the alternator on the left side, thru the alternator and thru that steel bracket and into part of engine?? this part not clearly understood as explained to me by mechanic husband. he had the same problem and corrected when bracket kit purchased from local Chevy dealer; about $197 in Hawaii. hope this bit helps...
replace the alternator
If you mean the relay that controls the starter motor then it is fairly simple. There are 2 possible faults. 1) The relay is working, but is broken or burned out internally. You will hear a click from the engine bay when the key is turned but the starter motor will not do anything, not even engage. 2) The relay is broken. In this case nothing at all will happen when the key is turned.
Humans don't need earthquakes any more than we need broken bones. But the way our world is put together, with big plates rubbing up against each other, they can't be avoided.
I had the problem with my 2000 regal 2x. They replaced the ignition, which did not work. I went up north and a friend worked at the gm dealer. He said it was the solenoid in the shifter. He replaced the shifter and guess what, it worked!! AnswerActually, I had this happen to my 94 sable and I was trying to get the key out for a while. Make sure the car is in PARK or the key won't come out.
There are two SMALL wires on the starter. They are connected wrong.
alternator does not rotate
it may be the starter going out doing it . it will kill the alternator if it keeps going . I know i had it happen to my 96 olds replaced the alt still didnt start and the starter fixed it
The best I can recommend is to check the alternator. This did happen to me on another car. When I replaced the alternator it started working fine again and now have 164000mi on it when it happened at 103000mi.
i had this happen once on an 03 dodge minivan. the alternator went bad and the battery was going dead but had enough power to get the engine started. once i replaced the alternator and charged the battery the gauges worked again. good luck!
Broken brackets happen sometimes during treatment! Most doctors will have to replace a broken bracket on a patient at least once during their braces experience. Usually, it is caused by eating or chewing on something hard or sticky that causes enough force to dislodge the glue from the tooth or bracket. I would call your orthodontist and let the office know that they are broken. Most times, you can shift the broken brackets to a stable position and place wax to help with discomfort until you can make it back to the office to repair the brackets. I have never personally eaten Takis chips, but if they are fairly hard, you may want to be as careful as possible when eating them as to avoid future bracket breakage. I hope this helps!
Broken Helix happened in 1997.
Human Beings will be replaced by robots
The brake caliper boot seal keeps out dust and dirt. If not replaced it can cause the caliper seal to leak and the brakes to possibly fail. It is simple to replace.
you get a detention
It'll be loud, and you'll need to get it replaced. If you're unfortunate, it'll damage the mud flap and bracket, and possibly air lines in the vicinity of the tire, such as suspension air lines, and the supply and emergency lines to the brake chamber.
you get bit and replaced
splinter, broken, dislocated(it can happen, i have made it happen), infected
