She should intake less than 23 grams of carbohydrates a day. This will keep her protein high and burn the few carbohydrates she has.
It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There are different machines for weight training as opposed to cardio training. Look at www.physicalfitness.com/equipment/ for some ideas
It should be fine, though I would avoid trying to lift weights from this position.
No cardio before weight lifting is a bad idea. The reason for that is you want to do the hardest part and the most taxing part of training first. If you do cardio before weight lifting you are going to deplete your muscle glycogen as well as your energy and come to lifting already fatigued. Versus training when you're fresh and then finishing with cardio.
Diet Shakes. Constant Workout. I suggest doing at least 30 minutes of cardio a day for about 2 weeks. it worked for me. just keep trying and it will work. trust me
It is completely up to you. It depends :your body typedietexercise regimenIf you are trying to lose weight as far as fat cells go, the more aerobic/cardio exercise the better. If you are wanting to lose fat and gain muscle, it is good to alternate. A good rule of thumb for muscle gain/fat loss diet is --Monday - Weights (full body or for example: chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders)Tuesday - at least 45 minutes of cardiovascular/aerobic exerciseWednesday - Weights (full body or for example: abs, back, obliques, butt)Thursday - at least 45 minutes of cardiovascular/aerobic exerciseFriday - Weights (full body or for example: (quads, hamstrings, calves, butt)Saturday - light cardio/aerobic or REST DAYSunday - REST DAY
It if you want to gain 5lbs of muscle you need to lift weights and eat protein. You should lift in high reps of manageable weights not small reps of a weight you can barely lift that can actually reverse what you are trying to do and make you weaker.
Yes. The more you can get your heart going, the more calories you will burn.
This machine is working to remove wastes from the blood just as your kidneys should be doing.
The sit-ups aren't going to do much good if that's all you're doing. It might work a little bit when you start, but you really should be doing at least 50 to get your heart pumping and what not.And running/cardio [like jumping rope] are an important part too, especially if you're trying to get rid of some of your belly. Doing cardio helps melt the fat off the stomach so that crunches actually make a difference. So I'd recommend working up to 40 minutes of cardio and then 20 minutes of toning (like weights and crunches) every other day, or alternate them (like one day, just do cardio and the next do the toning). But don't overwork yourself! And it's not just losing weight. It's a lifestyle choice. Don't get wrapped up in losing weight, just get healthy! =]
This depends on which muscles you are trying to develop, but usually, machines are actually more effective than free weights.
* Go to your local gym, ride that bike, then lift weights for your arms, and then run for a bit on the treadmill or stairclimber. * I lost 100 lbs over a 2-year period. I cut back on my sugar/calorie intake and I started running. I started out at half a mile per night, which was exhausting. I slowly increased the distance. By the end of the 2 years, I was running 4.5 miles per day. Running does get boring. I took to running in a park, more enjoyable. Having music helps, something upbeat. Having somebody working out with you is a good idea because they can push you. It's amazing how much you can do after you think you can't do any more. It was tough but really increased my endurance. In addition, if you are going to do cardio and lift weights in the same day, do cardio first then lift second, and stay hydrated. If you are lifting weights, a high protein, low carb diet is best. * Cardio exercise is the best exercise for weight loss. Moreover, there are other forms of cardio exercise apart from running or jogging. Cardio walking to lose weight is excellent because it is easier on your body and sustainable long term.
