Basically the biggest problem with global warming for the desert eco-zone is that double the amount of land will be covered with sand, making it very difficult to locate the little water possible as well as the sand spreding acroos other parts of the world making it difficult to grow any foods. Every one must change their ways before we kill the earth! if she goes down, we all go with her.
Global warming is affecting the deserts, but in many different ways.
Worldwide, deserts warmed up between 1976 to 2000 at a rate of 0.2-0.8ºC every ten years - an overall increase of 0.5-2ºC, much higher than the global temperature increase of 0.45ºC.
This increased heat causes a deadening of desert vegetation, increasing the size of the deserts.
Another factor is the El Niño and La Niña Southern Oscillations. El Niño causes increased rainfall in coastal deserts (Namib and Atacama) but less rainfall in summer-rain deserts (Central Australia, Thar, Caatinga). During La Niña years the situation is reversed.
As the global climate continues to warm, El Niño events are expected to become more common.
Global warming affects desert animals in different ways. Some animals have to try to find cooler climates while others are faced with the problem of locating water.
global warming will help them because it will rain more and the temprature will decrease
Plants don't increase global warming. In fact, they do the opposite.Plants, trees and all vegetation reduce the effect of global warming by removing from the atmosphere these gases like carbon dioxide and storing the carbon in their trunks and branches. They help to reduce global warming.
'Help.. global warming.'
its us...we can help stop the global warming..,
Yes, global warming is an increase in temperature of earth and atmosphere, heating up it changes the environment of plants, such as climatic conditions, also unpredictable season change may occur. This causes threat for survival of plants. Increases in carbon dioxide and precipitation could also help some plants. Some reports claim that some areas would become more hospitable to farming and increases in crops could be seen in some areas. Basically it becomes an issue of redistribution. If the theory of global warming is valid we could expect to see changes in agriculture and plant life, not necessarily loss in total. Remember plants need water and reasonable temperatures to exist. We find far more plant life in a warm desert than we find in the Antarctic.
Yes by cleaning the earth, takes away pollution. And the pollution is what's causing global warming. But just to say, I don't believe in global warming. Because THE LORD promised he wouldn't flood the Earth again.

Plats reduce global warming and since global warming is related to ozone depletion. Thus plants improve ozone depletion.
Yes, plants absorb carbon dioxide which is increasing in the atmosphere.
Plants reduce carbon dioxide, because they absorb carbon and release oxygen. Yes, they help reduce global warming, because excess carbon dioxide emissions increase the green house effect and global warming. Plants in total consume a small percentage of the carbon dioxide, a known minor contributor to global warming. The bottom line is that plants are a small carbon sink.
'Help.. global warming.'
well it is said that plants can help stop global warming. So, they have photosynthesis and do cellular respiration to take in carbon dioxide and make it oxygen. global warming has to do with carbon dioxide. there you go! :)
Plants remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
They don't help with global warming naturally but the large buildup of greenhouse gases does assist with global warming.
Plants and any growing vegetation remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through photosynthesis. This carbon is stored in the plants and trees. Any removal of greenhouse gases from the atmosphere slows global warming a little.
Planting trees will reduce the effect of global warming, but it has little to do with ozone depletion.
its us...we can help stop the global warming..,
By inhaling carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen.
