Check the fuses. Either that or the wires are shot and need replaced or spliced. Sometimes when a wire gets hot and it is split in an area the two halves separate and stop making contact. The main thing I would tell you is to take it to a machanic.
The clockspring under the airbag is not connected or needs to be replaced! also the cruse control and radio controls in the steering wheel are probably not working
The "clock spring" is broken would be my guess.
Very few aftermarket ones will, Sony used to make a model that would in the 1990's but it may not be available anymore. Only factory stereos from cars with steering wheel controls have the plug on the back to accept the wiring from the steering wheel controls.

A clock spring, when you are talking about vehicles, is a device that allows all the wires that are connected to the steering wheel, such as horn, turn signals, headlights, cruise control, and radio controls to still work when the steering wheel is turned. It makes all the connections by way of a device that can turn and still stay connected.A clock spring, when you are talking about vehicles, is a device that allows all the wires that are connected to the steering wheel, such as horn, turn signals, headlights, cruise control, and radio controls to still work when the steering wheel is turned. The steering wheel controls will work with some decks. Depending on the brand and model, you have to purchase an adapter that will allow your controls to work. However!!!, if you remove your factory deck, you will loose many options. eg. low tire pressure, change oil, etc. One way of installing an after market deck is to move your factory deck into the trunk and install a new head unit.

The unresponsive radio controls on the dash of an Infiniti G35, while the steering wheel controls work, could indicate a problem with the dash-mounted control unit or wiring. It's also possible that there is a software issue or a blown fuse affecting the dash controls specifically. Additionally, a malfunctioning connection or corrosion could be causing the issue. A diagnostic check may help pinpoint the exact cause.
There is not a common fuse for all of those items. The most likely cause for all not to work is a failed clockspring. That is the part under the steering wheel that allows the wiring to turn with the wheel and not break.
something is wrong with your car ( how embarrising ) go see a mechanic ( you know the people with there trousers halfway down ) NO NOT PLUMBERS
