Self-explanatory. It is an assault for sexual purposes of anyone under the age of 18 years of age. The age of consent plays no part in this offense.
Yes, they certainly can be charged. Just because they are a minor does not mean they can break the laws.
Sexual battery in Indiana is abusing a girl and sometimes even a male in sexual terms. Such as if she/he was preforming sexual activity, you were to hit him; that is sexual battery. It can land you years but sometimes months in federal prison depending on how bad the case is.
It is when a person over the legal age engages in sexual contact of a person under the legal age for sex or sexual purposes. So an 18 yr old with a 14 yr old, for example. Sexual exploitation is against the law.
A non-sexual relationship with a minor is usually legal. But keep in mind that activities with a minor that may not involve actual sex, such as seeing each other nude or touching various body parts may also be illegal. Even in a non-sexual relationship, there are certain rules when a minor is involved. Doing anything illegal or immoral could be deemed "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" which is a crime. But typically there are no legal issues with simply dating or spending time together.
There are no laws about dating. There are laws about sexual contact and if the minor is over the age of 16, they can consent in North Carolina.

It depends on the type of assault (Simple - Sexual - Battery - Weapon - etc) and the age of the minor. Assault is 'assault' no matter the age of the victim but it can be enhanced by additional charges of cruelty to a minor - or similar type charge.
Enticing a minor is the act of persuading, luring, or asking anyone under the age of sixteen to perform prostitution or any sexual act using any sort of interactive computer service.

minor: a little renovate: fix up...
Sexual battery is illegal in Ohio and is considered a felony. The penalties for this crime will vary depending on the age of the victim.
The law says no sexual contact with a minor. Do you class kissing (making out) as sexual ? if so then refrain from it to be safe from the law.
By "dating" do you mean going to a movie, dinner, golf or a trip to an amusement park? If that's your definition of "dating", no problem. If you mean to ask if it's legal for an adult to enter into sexual activity with a minor, you should be able to answer that question just from the definition... No, you could be locked up as a sexual predator, the same way a male would be treated if HE were caught partcipating in sexual activity with a minor. We certainly wouldn't want to have Gender Bias in our courts, would we?
Just go to the police and let them deal with it.
How old was the minor who committed the battery? Generally, you could sue the minor and his/her parents. This probably varies by state and there are numerous other questions to ask before a suit could be contemplated - although you will certainly have some recourse. It means that someone has enticed a minor to do illegal acts. Having sexual contact with a minor is illegal.
