That's a good question. Many people wish there hadn't been a civil war but I have to say I'm almost glad there was. Yes, it was tragic, but people learn from their mistakes. It was bound to happen sooner or later but it taught us a lesson. And a good one too. The civil war was a terrible thing but if it hadn't happened then think what the world would be like today... We might me having a civil war right now By the way please note I'm only 12 so my answer may not be exactly what you were looking for but that is my personal opinion.
