How do you fix the speedometer light in the dash of a 1995 Lexus ES?

If the needle is out you have to replace the needle itself as its an LED light. If its a dashboard light then you have to remove the face plate(two screws on the top of it) and take out the instrument cluster, take it apart and replace the bulb. Although the needles are engineered to be removed/replaced, you cannot buy a single needle. You must by the entire instrument cluster to fix this.

How do you repair a 1994 Lincoln Continental electronic dash?

All you have to do is go to the library and ask the help desk to look at their on line connetion for instrument cluster remove and replace and they will print out a prcedure to do this. Good luck. I just did this. Several steps to removing all of dash padding and cowling around steering column and disconnect cable to transmission shifter. Do see if you can get directions from library...if not, just take your time and slowly remove parts as you can. When I removed instrument cluster it is alot of plastic and the plastic clips kept breaking off so had to use alot of super glue and reposition very carefully. Also, go ahead and replace ALL bulbs at this point so as not to have to do this again for another 12 years. If you are looking at how to repair items such as erratic oil pressure readings and the dash chiming a check engine signal when you know the engine oil pressure is just fine, then I would send it out to be rebuilt. I sent my cluster out to Southern Electronics and I believe that it ran me about $275. I am very impressed with their work, and also found that it affected the automatic dimmers on my Continental. They are pretty fast at returning the cluster repaired) Here is the website for Southern Electronics: http:/www.instrumentclusters.com

How do you replace odometer light bulb in 2002 Saturn L200?

Below the instrument cluster is a trim piece that goes across the width of the instrument cluster. Remove the 4 screws then remove the trim piece. Remove the screws that retain the instrument cluster, then carefully pull the instrument cluster STRAIGHT BACK. The instrument cluster plugs in to a matching socket in the dashboard. Be certain that the pins do not get bent. It's a good idea to replace all of the bulbs once one burns out. The rest will be failing soon. There are two types of bulbs used in the dashboard, they might only be available at a GM dealership. Replace all of the bulbs. Carefully push the instrument cluster back into the dashboard, then test the lights and make certain that the instruments and indicator lights work before putting everything else back together. Replace the trim ring around the instrument cluster. Replace the bottom trim piece... Done. ... at least, that's how it works on the 2000 LS

I had read that what you have to do is after you replace the cluster try to start it once. Leave the key in the on position for at least 10 minutes and that is supposed to reset the anti-theft system and it should start and run fine.
