the Georgia state law for self help repossession is that if the unit is locked behind a gate you can't touch it if it is in a locked garage you can't touch it if you are on posted private property and are asked to leave you have to now if you have the car on hook and they come out run like hell for the road what I have done is rolled the window up and didn't hear a thing basically if you are behind your going to get caught I've had my truck shot had people try to fight give me money to leave women come out naked and try to trade off for sex you name it I've seen it I have been in a family business for fifteen of the 25 years we have been open but it's an exciting job and allot of folks don't like me but some do and some shake my hand there are a few what we call fly by night Rep men that make the true repairman have a bad rap If you live in apartments you can tell us to leave until your blue in the face but its not going to happen until the car is on hook your in gated At's. we wait either until we can follow someone in or at the Rolodex there is a little red box for police and fire to enter well its also for the Rep man that knows how to pop the box open then hit the little toggle switch close the door and Rep the car
