with India's capital Mumbai about 7807 miles southeast of New York and 4479 miles from London.

India is bounded by :

NORTH: Tibet (China), Nepal, and Bhutan

SOUTH: Sri Lanka, Indian Ocean

WEST: Pakistan, Arabian Sea

EAST: Burma, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Bay of Bengal

The country of India also includes the Nicobar Islands south of Burma (Myanmar).
