on a 2004 which is pretty much the same car, the pan will hold 4.5 and the torque convertor will hold 1, for a total of 5.5 quarts. just flushed my tranny yesterday.

In most vehicles, including the dodge neon, lights flashing on and off generally means that there is a malfunctioning vehicle security system, or the car's alarm has been triggered. When the vehicles ignition key slot is in the off position and the key is removed and the vehicle has been secured by closing the door while the door's lock is in the lock position or with a keyless remote control, the alarm system becomes active. There are many different types of alarm systems and most that have a relay that controls the headlights are installed by the vehicles manufacturer. I would recommed asking your dealer how to disable the system via a "valet switch"... that should stop the lights from flashing. If that doesn't work you could remove the headlamp fuse with a pair of needlenose plyers but I wouldn't recommed this because your wouldn't be able to use your headlamps until you return the fuse and you may disable something else that you didn't intend to disable because it's on the same circuit.

Locate the stock air box on the drivers side in front of the battery. Take of all the screws on top of the air box with a Philips screw driver, then just pop off the top casing, remove the air filter vacuum out any debris and put ur new filter in and put the top back on with the screws. Ta da!

It's simpler then it looks. Remove the wheel then the brake drum, with a flat head screw driver remove the dust cover. you will need a large socket to remove the nut. I bought one at Auto Zone I beliieve it was a 36MM but the package says earley Chrysler Front hub nut socket (same nut for the rear) after removing the nut the hub and bearing asy will slide off. When putting on the new hub make sure you grease it with bearing grease

sometimes yes it could be the problem for the vehicle not starting look for cracks or rub marks on the magnet if that doesnt solve the no start problem with new magnet and sensor check the wires for shorts or bad grounds.

you have a small evaporative system leak.First ,replace the gas cap,if this does't clear your MIL, then comes the hard part.yo have tocheck every emission hose from the gas tank filler tube to the canister.These are sometimes very small air leaks, coming from worn hoses,brittle and fragile.Before you do any of thi s you must first jack up the car ,Slide under it.you'll even have to check the canister it's self ,and the Purge vale solenoid.If you can detectnothing(no Air coming from any of the hoses), And you still light up after you replace vthe Gas Cap,Take your Neon to a shop so thatey can pressurize theSystem with smoke where the smoke exits, marks theleak, problem solved!

I hate to say it, but when I had this problem, it WA because I didn't connect one of the plugs well and it came apart.

Manual trans YES...Auto, NO... 2005 has NGC (Next Generation Computer)... Find a 3.94 trans out of a 98-2001 R/T or ACR Neon... those are the best... 3.55 are decent, but geared for driving, and use of hydrolic clutch.

A code P0172 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: The MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is dirty or faulty. Use fuel injector cleaner or get them professionally cleaned/replaced. Check for an exhaust leak before the first oxygen sensor (this is unlikely to cause the problem, but it is possible)

Code P2345 does not show up in any of my information.

The highest number code Dodge has is P1899. I would check that again.

Some early Neons had 4 per wheel, all the rest have 5 per wheel.
