What does the 4-h pledge stand for?
The 4-H Pledge is: I pledge My head to clearer thinking (place hand on head), My heart to greater loyalty (hand on heart), My hands to larger service (hands out in front of body), And my health to better living (hands clasped in front of or behind body or at sides), For my club, my community, my country, and my world.
4-H isn't only for farm kids, though! There are projects, such as Aerospace, Cake Decorating, Computers, Environmental Sciences, Health/Fitness, Robotics, Photography, Theater, Veterinary Science, and others that appeal to city kids, too!
Junior Leadership for those who are a bit older and have been in 4-H for a few years offers opportunities to get more involved in 4-H, and trips that are awarded for outstanding 4-H work are also available. There are Public Speaking and Demonstration contests, too!
One of the best things about 4-H is that it's truly an equal opportunity organization! You don't have to be popular or in the "in crowd" to shine and succeed in 4-H, so you control your destiny and how well you do!

How did 4-h first get started?
The first agricultural after-school clubs were formed in 1902, and by 1914 the organizations were using the familiar four-leaf clover emblem with four H's as their logo. The national organization was formed in 1914, and the US Congress mandated its operation by the Cooperative Extension Service of the USDA later that year with the passage of the Smith-Lever Act of 1914.

A. B. Graham started one of the youth programs in Mississippi in 1902, which is considered the birth of the 4-H program in the United States. The first club was called "The Tomato Club" or the "Corn Growing Club".
4-H is an organization that teaches resposibility through its programs. This is generaated even more through its clubs. A 4-H club has meetings anywhere from once a week/every other week or month to discuss new 4-H news, information, and resources. Meetings start with pledges then usually lead into a short meeting which is followed by either a guest speaker, working on a community project, completion of 4-H projects, or just chatting in general. This is also where you would receive your green record books/manuals and project information.
If you don't have time to attend meetings you can sign up under "independent study" (depending upon what state you're in). Indepent Study makes you (the parent) the leader which means you would sign all the records sheets as the "leader of your club"
Being in a 4-H Club is not required when joining 4-H. Or, if you get tired of the club you are in, you can switch and join another club.

Mold anywhere is very bad for all animals, it can cause respiratory issues and grow bacteria. Since this is dried there is still the possibility your rabbit will eat it and that could kill your rabbit. If this is a show rabbit you ought to know how to care for it to keep it in the best possible condition. Even if its just a pet a clean cage is not optional. The fact you're asking here shows you're inexperienced, though common sense should have told you this isn't right. Don't write me off as a bleeding heart liberal. I'm president of my 4-H club and I've been around show rabbits, some close friends have breeding programs of several hundred rabbits. You need to take better care of your animal, even if its just a pet.

SOme projects that are offered to the 4-H'ers are animal project and you dont neccessarily have to "raise" an animal, but if you decide to take a animal project somtimes you may have to breed and raise babies and keep a good budget while raising the animals.

No. Many people do this as a sign of loyalty to their colony. Like the Army troops for example.
