I probably got the name of some of them wrong but this gives you the idea..........after dealing with the darkness and cold during insanely long winters and being inside with cabin fever, Alaskans will celebrate just about anything just so they have an excuse to get outdoors and have fun in the summer.............actually they'll even celebrate in the dead of winter just so they don't have to wait so long for the summer fun to begin........Alaskans are fun loving people. You give them lemons and they'll not only make lemonaid, they'll make lemon pie, lemon cookies, lemon cake, lemon candy, lemon popsicles if it's sub zero temps..............In short Alaskans will find fun in anything !!!
