The story behind Moctezuma the Second's death is very ambiguous. A Spanish writer called Bernal Diaz del Castillo claims that the Spanish forced him to urge his people to stop fighting them. Appalled by this, the people threw rocks at Moctezuma killing him. But some accounts say the Spanish murdered him.

The Incas never took over the Aztecs. Both were destroyed by the Spanish Conquistadors in the early 16th century.

The Cortez men killed half of them followed by a killer disease that killed the remaining.

More or less, the Aztecs were known for their brutal human sacrifices, but most were simply because the Aztecs believed the world would end if they did. Aztec society was also very organized and fair, including an education for all instead of just the higher classes.
