Why do frogs have a light colored bottom and a dark top?
Think of it like this.....
If a predator is looking down from the sky, the dark top of the frog will blend well with the ground and dark waters.
And if a predator under the water looks up to the surface, the bottom of the frog would blend well with the sky.
So frogs have light bottoms and dark tops so they can blend well in their surroundings and be safe from most predators! :)
How does chytrid fungus affect frogs all over the world?
This hideous fungus attaches to the frogs skin, and begins to grow on the frog. The frog now being covered with fungus finds it difficult to breath. So basically it kills them because they cant breathe.
Is there a frog that eats snakes?
There are a variety of frogs that eat snakes. Large bullfrogs have been known to eat snakes at times, as have many of their larger cousins in Africa and South America. More specifically, these are the Argentine Horned Frog and the Goliath frogs.
No, insects do not eat dead birds.
Actually some do. Types of carrion beetles specifically eat dead meat. And various types of flies lay eggs on the dead animal, in which case technically it is the insect larvae (maggots) which would be eating the dead bird. (See 'Related Links', below.)

A good name for any frog is something that relates to frog life. They may not sound like very good names but Hoppy, Buggers, Froggy, Froggert, that kind of name because they are froggy like and it doesn't matter if it is thin or fat! If this wasn't helpful then search it on google because there are other websites that already have answers and we don't have to answer questions for you so suck it!

What is the length of the large intestine in the frog?
An animal's small intestine is roughly 3.5 times it's body length.
So it depends on the size of the frog.
i.e. If the frog was four inches long, the small intestine would be 14 inches.
Average is 122 cm long
it varies from frog to frog but mine was 30 cm. Hope that helps
usually (depending on the species) spends time in and out of water . They need time to be completely out of water and sometimes they need just a shallow amount of water.. aquatic environment and damp environments are both needed ... not completely dry

What eats Oregon spotted frogs?
Bull frogs, great blue herons, bigger Oregon spotted frogs (if in captivity and kept at high densities), racoons, otters and even fish. A lot of critters will eat them if given the opportunity. Bull frogs are the biggest impediment to reintroduction attempts. They are a nonnative species in all of the OSF's home range and are difficult to eradicate. They are bigger and more aggressive and quickly out compete the smaller OSF's. Hope this helps!
They obviously come from frogs! :-)
Indonesia is the largest exporter of frog meat. They export more than 5000 tonnes of frog meat each year, mostly to France, Belgium and Luxemburg. This may be due to over-harvesting in Europe. See New Scientist article below. Answer 2
Today, in fact, most frogs legs come from China or India, where they are factory farmed. The best legs, however, seem to be produced by Ken Holyoak, a frog farmer from Brunswick, Georgia. By creating what amounts to a frog free-range habitat, Holyoak has found a way to produce frogs in quantity while avoiding some of the pitfalls that lead some restaurateurs to describe Chinese frogs as having a "muddy" flavor and "dark" meat.
In most species of frogs there are not teeth on the lower jaw. They have only teeth on their top maxilla. However, there is one species that does have them on their lower jaw but it is a rare species, Amphingnathodon. This species has teeth on the lower jaw.
How does the nictating membrane help a frog underwater?
The nictitating membrane is a translucent membrane at the bottom of the eye that can be pulled up right across the eye. It is not an eyelid because the frog can still see when the membrane is raised. It is used when swimming or when insects are swarming around the frog's eyes, and also for keeping the eyes moist when it is windy.
anybody can eat frog legs because they have white meat in there hind legs; like chicken. So yes; Germans can eat frog legs if they wanted.

It is true that humans have notochords, however, this is true only when we are a developing embryo (we lose the this post-embryonic structure as adults). The notochord, being the stiff, supportive rod-like structure that it is, allows for us as vertebrates, to develop vertebrae. After the age of four, humans actually do have leftover PIECES of the notochord, which athletes may recognize as disks in between each vertebra within our spine.
