All I can tell you, is when I recently uncovered an alligator lizard hide (under a rock in my garden...) there were a LOT of empty snail shells around. When I see an AL today I move it into our heavily planted areas.
They eat a variety of small invertebrates, including slugs, snails, and worms. Will also eat small lizards and small mammals. Occasionally feed on bird eggs and young birds.

I guess a dead fish would not swim too well and neither would a shark that has been prey to shark fin hunters. I do not know of any living normal fish that can not swim. Fish can rest for a few seconds and not swim than but if a fish stops swimming than its vital organs stop working.
Exactly.
The dead fish can not swim...
Can you feed lizards fire bellied toads?
Fire bellied toads eat crickets. They eat 2 or 3 every other day. They can also eat 1 mealworm two times a week instead of crickets. Once a month or less often sometimes, I feed my toads 1 wax worm each, then skip a feeding. They eat no crickets on wax worm day. On the feeding after the skipped one, theyonly eat 2 crickets each. The next feeding they continue to eat normally.
To ensure the crickets have full nutritional value they should be gut loaded (fed) on healthy vegetables, like carrots, squash, sweet potatoes and green leaves immediately before being fed to the frogs. Crickets that aren't gut loaded are not very nutritious. Once a week, feeder insects should also be dusted with a calcium and vitamin powder, to ensure the toads are getting sufficient calcium and vitamins.
Phoenix worms are another excellent food for frogs and toads because they are very rich in calcium. They are the maggots of the black soldier fly and can be bought online now.
What is the full name of the yellow spotted lizard?
I think it's safe to say that most lizards that we know of aren't too big. But others can grow to absolutely enormous sizes. So, with that said, let's say that lizards can range from a few short centimeters to a whopping three meters. The Jaragua Sphaero (the Dwarf Gecko) is about 0.6 inches long, ... all the way up to ... The Komodo Dragon which can be up to ten feet long.
The Carribean lizard Sphaerodactylus ariasae is only about 16 millimeters long, conversely the Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis) grows up to 3 metres.
Mohameds mum washes pigs in her sink hahahahaah lol
Crested geckos(R. Cilatus) thrive in a habitat ranging from 50-80% humidity at all times. If a crested geckos enclosure is not providing enough humidity and moisture for the shedding process, in most cases a Crested Gecko will burrow into the most moist spot of the tank. This could be the soil from a planted tank, or even some damp paper towel cramped up in the back. Look over your humidity levels and be sure that they are reaching 75-80% daily for at least three or four hours. To do so, add a couple of extra greens in the set up, provide a tank with peat moss/ coco-husk mix as substrates (this tends to hold moisture for longer periods of time) or simply add a tupperwear container with a hole cut in the lid and filled with paper towels, be sure to mist it daily to keep moist.
How long will it take from mating to laying eggs for lizards?
I'll let you know sometime soon. I caught a gravid girl and let her drop her eggs, fattened her back up and released her. I was actually googling the incubation period myself. she laid 13 eggs on 6/2/12. Two of them appear infertile when candling them but they've not started molding or looking bad on the outside so I'm leaving them alone. I know most North American, egg laying colubrids (ratsnakes, king snakes, corns) take roughly 60 days at 78°-80°. That's by no means written in stone so please don't dissect and criticize the vague statements that I've made. I know eastern hognose (heterodon platirhinos) go through a MUCH shorter incubation period. their eggs are almost translucent and very thin shelled as apposed to the vast majority of oviviparous snakes around the area. well....... just wanted to say that I'd post my findings once mine start hatching. I've incubated sceloporus eggs a dozen times but never paid attention to timelines lol. later

I think the best way to put this is that their size depends on the size of the frog, but they are black or brown, smelly and contain indigestible insect parts, eg. moth wings, beetle shells, grasshopper legs. They look like little rocks but if you look at them closely you can tell that there frog droppings :)

What does a horned toad use as shelter?
First of all, the toad (actually a lizard) is cold blooded, meaning it won't get as hot as fast in the desert where it lives. Its coloring is also perfectly suited to the color of the sand and brush of a desert, where its coloring would make it stand out in a forest. The animals it eats also live in the desert.
How can you tell when your lizard is pregnant?
If your lizard is pregnant, it will probably have a larger stomach, because the eggs are developing inside. Also, she may be extensively digging because she is trying to make a burrow to lay her eggs, but this will only be if she has been pregnant for a while. If you would like to, GENTLY feel the underside of your lizard, if you feel large bulges toward her tail/lower abdomen, she is most likely pregnant.
I say the leopard gecko would be a the best choice for a pet lizard. Reasons: They're inexpensive, nocturnal (you won't miss out when your at school), and their food is inexpensive.

Snakes do have teeth, but they are very small. The teeth of a snake are not made for chewing but for keeping a grip on prey. The fangs of venomous snakes are also modified teeth.
Can male lizards have eggs with out a female?
A female leopard gecko can store sperm for several weeks, or even an entire breeding season, providing she has mated once or twice successfully. So it is possible to have a female lay eggs three or four weeks after a mating that occurred before she was acquired as a pet.
Some hybrid geckos (although not leopards) can reproduce without males.
