This can be solved with simple math, multiplication and division.

12 sheets of paper = .84375 kg

(divide by 12)

Each sheet of paper = 0.0703125 kg

(Convert tons to kg)

1 ton = 907.18474 kilograms

(Divide total weight of a ton in kg by the weight of a single paper)

907.18474/0.0703125= 12,902.183

12,902 sheets of paper can be made out of a ton

How do you build a 50 inch paper tower with 1 sheet of paper and 30 cm of scotch tape?

I just completed this project and got 108% (:

Step 1) Put your paper longways and measure strips out that are: 2 1/2 inches, 2 inches, 1 1/2 inches, 1 inch, and 1/2 inch.

Step 2) Cut the strips out. (you should have a tiny bit of paper left, put that aside, you wont need it)

Step 3) Fold all the strips of paper in half, they should look like triangles missing a side.

Step 4) In order from biggest to smallest (biggest being the bottom) you should put the triangles inside each other (the small one inside the big one by about 1 cm.) tape the little piece of the small on inside both sides of the bigger one.

Step 5) Keep doing this until you've used all the paper strips you cut out(:

I got 54 inches, and I made this design up myself (:

Good Luck! (:
