if i were you i would try and be his friend first. try and talk to him more and more each day. help him with any dilemmas he faces. be there when he needs you. another thing is to be certain he likes you back. nothing worse than getting rejected (well there are worse things). obvious signs would be him staring at you and looking away when you see him. maybe fidgeting when he speaks to you. he might look down when he speaks to you. he will start conversations with you and his friends might laugh if they know. any of these signs. then all you have to do is ask. just be honest with him. tell him how you feel and ask if he would like to go out with you. if he just wants to be friends then your still young!
