good question. i always have my friend investigate for me when i need to find out something about someone we both know. if she has his phone number, ask her to casually work the answer out of him over texts.

you can also just become friends with him and invite him to a casuall movie outing with a group of friends and sit next to him, talk, and then make an educated guess on weather he likes you or not, without asking the question.

does he text you alot? does he always want to thouroughly finish conversations with you? does he compliment you about things other than your looks, like your personality? does he ever try to make plans with you? if all of these are a yes, then he probably likes you. does he get bored of texting or IMing you after two weeks? is he always randomly "busy" now? mabey he has moved on.

I understand where you're coming from. Trying not to be a nosy nellie but still want to know if you're the only one for him. If he is constantly telling you how pretty you are and "Wow! If I could, I would put you on a pedestal!" Follow your instincts. This guy is obviously afraid you will break up with him like other girls have done because he IS a player. If he's been rejected by many girls in the past, it was probably for a good reason.

ALOT (it's impossible for me because my gf is practically a goddess and she can love a person so much. I try loving her more but it dosn't work. I want to though. You might want to look at your motives for needing your girlfriend to be convinced she loves you less than you love her. No partnership involves two people loving one another exactly equally at every moment, but love isn't a contest, or shouldn't be. By all means do all the right things to show your girlfriend she is special to you, but it isn't good to make an issue of who loves whom the most.
