In captivity, there are many more colors not found in nature. One variation, the Albino kingsnake, is very rare in the wild because a) the genetic combination necessary for this coloring is rare by itself and b) albino kingsnakes have poor vision and cannot camoflouge very well and are, therefore, killed by predators faster than the average kingsnake. The albino kingsnake is very common as a pet because of its beautiful coloring. I, myself, have an albino kingsnake, and they truly are beautiful!

Snakes enter peoples houses and gardens for a reason. Whether it be in search of food, shelter, warmth or just to pass through - if they want to get in they will. There is no need to be scared of snakes, leave them alone and they'll leave you alone. Obviously depending on where you live they could be more dangerous, but if you see a snake in your area, call a snake removal company to get rid of it. BUT NEVER ATTEMPT TO KILL A SNAKE !.. Firstly because it's cruel, and secondly because the snake could get you before you get it !
