Depends what species of snake. It doesn't matter that it has no teeth, snakes don't need them, they swallow their prey whole. Go to a reptile specialist's shop and ask them, live or dead crickets and mice would be good.

There are 14 types of snakes in Massachusetts. Some of which are diurnal, These are tips on finding these creatures.

1. When to find snakes = When looking for snakes in MA make sure its a sunny day in the Spring, Summer, and early and mid fall. The temperature should be between 65-85 degrees. Tip ( snakes don't like it when goes lower than 65 or 85 degrees). But that doesn't go for most snakes, Some snakes like Brown Snakes, Red-belly snakes, and Ring neck snakes like the temperature cooler like 55. In addition the best time to find these snakes is in the Spring. In the summer these snakes are found under logs and rocks. But some snakes like Black racers like extreme heat 85 or 90+

2 Where to find snakes = It depends on what snakes your looking for. I most commonly see snakes in Woodland parks. But for example smooth Green snakes like grassland habitats, and Hog nose snakes like sandy areas. Garter snakes the most common snakes in Massachusetts can be found in virtually every habitat in Massachusetts. Other snakes you have to look a little harder.

3 What snakes will I come across = Garter snakes, Milk snakes, Northern Water snakes, Brown snakes, Black Racers, Ribbon snakes, Smooth Green snakes, Red Belly snakes, Ring Neck snakes

Some of are more uncommon snakes like Hog nose snakes, Black rat snakes, Timber Rattlesnakes, and Northern copperheads, and Worm snakes can be found but are harder to find.

Snakes like Red Belly snakes, Ring Neck snakes, Brown snakes, and some times Copperheads are nocturnal in Summer. Copperheads are most commonly found during daylight hours.

Also some snakes like Ring Neck snakes can be found on cool cloudy or foggy summer mornings.

Bigger snakes can eat corn snakes sometimes

Only a king snake would do this (they are the only canibal snakes that live in the same area. Hawks, large lizards (if it's a small snake), cats, dogs, raccoons , coyotes, and countless other things depending on the size of the snake. Snakes are also run over by cars very often.

Also do you have a previous phobia of snakes. If you do then 1 very logical and analytical answer is. Your subconscious mind is trying to rectify this phobia. If the boy resembles you then it is a younger version of yourself trying to get you to not be afraid anymore. It would usually be in your best interest to give in to the object of the dream. I have to tell you that you are very fortunate to get dreams such as this. Based on the little info given here you are a very active dreamer. It is fortunate that you were able to recall the details of this very specific dream. Not many people would be able to perfectly recall all details of such a livid dream.

You should feed a corn snake in a separate container because, they will know that their cage isn't food and they are less likely to bite. And yes you should 100% yes if you have two in the same cage because if two snakes get in a fight over a mouse it could be a fight to the death and it isn't fun trying to pull two hungry fighting snakes away from each other.

I would guess that there are snakes large enough to eat a baby hippo, but I've no idea if there's documented evidence that this has happened.
