i'd say the easiest way to put it would be to say they produce venom like we do saliva... they have glands either side of the head that constantly produces venom, not all snakes are venomous though.

It is a yes because its glucose levels can quickly increase people's glucose levels. The high glucose levels are useful for activity such as exercising where people have enough energy.

It is no because if the glucose that enters the person isn't burned (got rid of from exercising, etc), it will stay there and affect the person's health causing health problems such as diabetes or blood pressure.

Generally, it's a good idea to let your snake relax and not to handle him (her) for at least 48 hours after they've eaten. Just a guideline.....but that guideline has worked for me perfectly for years now. If you have to handle them, try to wait at least 24 hours; but of course if it's a safety issue then you need to handle it asap!
