answeractually the aborigines used surf boards long before the white man ever went to Australia so please don't try to tell the world that surfing is another American inventionHow do you know what size you wear in jockstraps?
This all depends upon your age and maturity. Some men mature faster than others, so the size selection will always be an "individual" preference based on comfort and ease of use. Maybe start out with a medium size and go from there. *** Or you could just check your waist size and look at the size chart on the box. That will tell you which size to get. After all, the only difference in jockstrap sizes is the waistband. They are not like bras, where they come in different cup sizes. The pouch is exactly the same size on all adult straps (of the same brand) whether they are small, medium, large, or whatever. The only time there are differnent size pouches is between adult and child sizes. And there are some companies that have come out with teen sizes that are between the child and adult sizes. But the pouches within each of those groups is ALWAYS the same regardless of the waist size. If you compare jockstraps from different companies you might see a difference in their pouches, but i don't know how much of a difference that would be.

What year was surfing invented?
It was invented as a show of talent in Ancient Polynesia, the best surfer was usually the tribal chieftain. ---- Surfing was invented in order to help the younger generations of fisherman learn how to deal with waves. This way when they grew up they would be able to successfully navigate the shoreline without their boats tipping over, having them lose their precious cargo. Then probably out of boredom (sponging sucks) they started standing up instead of lying down and then you get the sport of surfing. There are many accounts of this happening in fishing villages all over the world Sal Tome, India, Fiji, Philippines. So it is unsure who really came up with it first but this is why it was invented.

How much does a surf board weight?
A surfboard can be heavy or light depending on the amount of fibreglass and resin on the surfboard. A 6 ounce fibreglass board is heavy, a 4 ounce is light. I have a 4 ounce on the deck and a 6 on the bottom to give it strength, but not make it too heavy.
Surfboards can also get heavy from cracks and holes leaking in water!
So they weigh all different weight
