Is it bad to have your laptop on sleep mode all of the time?

I would not recommend it. I have read about it being bad for your laptop to be on sleep mode all of the time, especially if you carry it with you while it is on sleep mode. Also, your laptop will get slower after a while.

I think the traveling with your laptop in sleep mode is less of a problem if you have a Solid State Drive (SSD). Never the less, I would recommend at least once a week turning your computer off entirely for a few hours.

What is a satellite LMB?

Have you ever wondered what is an LNB and what is an LNB LO frequency ? Here is some information about LNBs that I hope will help explain matters.

The abbreviation LNB stands for Low Noise Block. It is the device on the front of a satellite dish that receives the very low level microwave signal from the satellite, amplifies it, changes the signals to a lower frequency band and sends them down the cable to the indoor receiver.

The expression low noise refers the the quality of the first stage input amplifier transistor. The quality is measured in units called Noise Temperature, Noise Figure or Noise Factor. Both Noise Figure and Noise Factor may be converted into Noise Temperature. The lower the Noise Temperature the better. So an LNB with Noise Temperature = 100K is twice as good as one with 200K.

The expression Block refers to the conversion of a block of microwave frequencies as received from the satellite being down-converted to a lower (block) range of frequencies in the cable to the receiver. Satellites broadcast mainly in the range 4 to 12 to 21 GHz.

What are some of the factors managers must consider when considering changes in technology?

I ask myself these questions, not necessarily in this order:

1. Will the change/s hinder or shut down production or cause a safety concern?

2. Will the change/s improve performance resulting in more efficient production?

3. Does the cost negatively/positively affect profitability now, or over time?

4. Does the change/s improve the working environment?

5. Is the change/s in BETA, or a new technology that will be upgraded/improved over time?

The answer to the questions above help me determine if the change/s are to be applied as soon as possible, can be deferred, or if it's practical for a specific situation. Though we like to believe technology is moving forward in a positive direction, it isn't always the case when applied to a specific situation. It's important to consider the time it takes to work out any bugs or defects, especially if safety or production can be affected in a negative way. A smart manager will hardly ever be an early adopter of new technologies or upgrades without intensive research.

What is the worlds strongest bomb?

The world's strongest bomb is the Tsar Bomba (AN-602) or the King of Bombs.

Tsar Bomba is also known as the King of Bombs. It is a thermonuclear-hydrogen bomb. It was tested in 1961 by the Russians. The original design of the Tsar Bomba was equivalent to 100,000,000 tonnes of TNT, but because there was some technical difficulties detonating 100,000,000 tonnes of TNT, so the design was scaled down to 57,000,000 tonnes of TNT. The explosion is so powerful that it can still give three degree burns from hundreds of kilometers away. The Tsar Bomba is so destructive that there is one and ever will be one of them in history and the world. The radius of the explosion of the Tsar Bomba is approximately 35 kilometers. The largest explosion ever in mankind. The explosion is so devastating that it barely touched the plane that released it.

What is difference between hydraulic cylinder And pneumatic cylinder?

1. Working fluid : Pneumatics use air, Hydraulics use Oil

2. Power : Pneumatic power less than hydraulic power

3. Size : P components are smaller than H components

4. Leakage : Leaks in hydraulics cause fluid to be sticking around the components. In pneumatics air is leaked into the atmosphere.

5. Pneuatics obtain power from an air compressor while hydraulics require a pump

6.Air is compressable, hydraulic oil isn't

Hydraulic oil is slightly compressable particularly when air is entrained within it

Hydraulics can also attain power from an air accumulator

PNEUMATIC POWER IS NOT BNECESSARILY LESS THAN HYDRAULIC POWER

THE LOSSES TEND TO BE GREATER IN PNEUMATICS BUT THIS IS DUE TO ENGINEERING RATHER THAN CHARACTERISTICS.

Pneumatics are much easier to configure for control applications

I disagree with answer 3 above, it depends on the application.XD

Pneumatic machines use the power of compressed air to perform work.

Hydraulic machines use the incompressibility of water under pressure to perform work.
