The geltabs are tablets which are coated with a smooth gelatin coating, (supposedly) making them easier to swallow than the plain kind.

No more than 4000 mg in a 24 hour period for a healthy adult and it should be divided into doses not larger than 1000 mg each

The question is...in what amount of time? 4000mg of acetaminophen is the maximum that should be taken in one 24hr period. 8 x 500mg doses.

Why don't you just take the whole bottle while your at it ?!

47 mg of codeine is quite a large amount the 30/300 mg pill should do the job.

Most i ever taken at once was 20mg and i felt like i was on a cloud.

One more thing id like to say, my friend died from taking 1 and 3/4 of a strong strong pain killer. So please take with moderation. My friend was only 18.

Oh please man he can definitely take both. I weigh 130, took 80 mg today and I don't have a tolerance. I felt alright nothing crazy. Oh and I drank a few beers

Oxycodone hcl and acitaminophen is the generic name for percocet, and it will show up on a pre-employment drug screen since it is an opiate.

Chronic use of certain drugs can cause gastric ulcers, but Tylenol is not one of them. On the other hand ibuprophen, or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) can cause gastric ulcers.

You might take acetaminophen with ibuprofen. You might take acetaminophen with Naprosyn. But you CAN'T take ibuprofen and naproxen (Naprosyn) together, as long as both drugs are NSAID and works on the same receptors. Naproxen is a little bit more powerful than ibuprofen.

Yes providing they are both at lower doses - both act as analgesics (pain relief) and compliment each other in severe pain. However you should not self prescribe this combination i.e. from old medicine stocks and consult your doctor if you are unsure

Yes because Axert is a triptan class medication and Ibuprofen in a NSAID pain releiver which stands for non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug they are not in the same class so therefore they shouldn't react to each other in a negative way

Some generic products, rightly or wrongly, are perceived to be inferior to the Brand name product.

The Brand name product is usually made by the company that first made it and either developed a great reputation or had a great reputation.

In fact, another company could come along long after the Brand name product was introduced, make a minor dimensional or material change for example, and offer a better version of the same product. Of course they could just as easily produce an inferior product. At that point Brand Image would become a factor.

2 at a time if you want to feel tired. im an 18 year old girl and when i take 3 or more it makes me feel drunk. but taking 3-4 will usually put you right to sleep. some people get high off them and take up to 12 at a time. my friend who is the same age as me and smaller takes 9 to get high/ fall asleep. that will happen if you build up an immunity. one time i took 5 and it was the most uncomfortable feeling ive ever had. youll have to see what works for you, hope i helped.

I was just at the doctor today and he told me to give my one year old daughter (20.4 LBS) Tylenol as needed every 4-6hrs at a dose of 0.8ml and 24hr Zyrtec before bed for the next 5 days at a dose of 2ml/2cc aka 1/2 tsp.

I am also a nurse at a Children's hospital. It is safe as long as you are giving a dose based on the child's weight...not the child's age.
