Can you inject Adderall or Ritalin and if not why?
Yes, if you had pure Ritalin it can be injected however injecting Ritalin (methylphenidate) from any tablet without proper purification would be highly dangerous as there are many other ingredients in those tablets which would need to be filtered out.

While the above answer is correct, despite the fact you will do what you want regardless, some additional information may make one or two people think twice and justify the effort.
If you read the prescribing information for methylphenidate HLC several important points are made. Most important being that methylphenidate HCL is freely soluble in water, and that the drug is acidic. Unless you intend to use a solvent like methanol or acetone which would produce toxic effects, the water solubility is essential. Acidic chemicals tend to have an advantage with regards to removing additional impurities as they will cross between two immiscable solvents if one is made acidic. The impurities remain in the original solute while the product concentrates in the lower pH layer, allowing one to remove the non-pH-lowered solvent to be drained off. Since most persons reading this answer will be using a spoon and water, no point in further discussion there.
While the fillers and other tablet components are unhealthy to inject for various reasons I'll focus on the particulate matter that is introduced directly into the vein. Despite your best efforts to remove these particles, it can't be done without supplies beyond a cotton ball or coffee filter. In a clinical setting you will see patients with irreversible damage to the valves that stop blood from flowing backward when the heart beats. This damage itself causes inefficiency and as a result an increase in cardiac load. In the short-term symptoms such as shortness of breath, fatigue, and edema can be seen. Over time the cumulative effect can be an enlargement of the heart muscle to a point that the organ can no longer effectively circulate blood. *Subaortic stenotic hypertrophy.
Stimulant medications, taken appropriately, carry an increased risk of sudden cardiac death. The leading cause of sudden cardiac death in younger patients is Cardiomyopathy (or Subaortic senotic hypertrophy.) While it often doesn't get that far without diagnosis the outlook isn't good. Medication can manage some aspects to an extent, but only for awhile. Treatment over the longterm requires a transplant, something persons with a history of IV substance abuse are not likely to receive.
My clinical background is shadowed by IV substance abuse, and therefor I can say from an understanding but stern position that anyone taking the risk of injecting drugs in this manner is well past the point of a casual user. Willingness to even consider this route shows desperation. Get help now so we don't waste resources on treating you later.
What does xanax show up as drug screen?
Xanax, or alprazolam, shows up as a benzodiazepine on a drug screen. If the drug screen has a separate toxicology section, it may show alprazolam metabolites specifically.
If they are testing for BZD's in general will there be any difference as to how each (clono & XANAX) show up on the tox screen?
Is it safe to take adderall while pregnant?
From what I gather from the research, no studies have been conducted with humans. When rats and rabbits were given high doses of Concerta (over the prescribed normal dosages) there were birth defects. Rats that were given 30 mg or less of concerta had normal offspring. HOWEVER, it is unclear if the rats were given this dosage daily... From what I can gather from speaking with doctors and other members of the medical profession - it is recommended that pregnant women should not take the drug during pregnancy. Concerta has been classified by the FDA as a drug to be avoided during pregnancy and that there are no human studies to substantiate a claim one way or another. I am pregnant and a PhD student and am struggling without my Concerta and am wondering if there are any alternatives? I have found some websites that suggest if the drawbacks outweight the potential risks, then continue taking the med, but I can't see the risk of birth defects outweighing 9 months of struggling through school. What will Adderall show up as in a drug screening?
Adderall is comprised of mixed amphetamine salts. Ampetamine is the same thing as the street drug speed. It will show up as speed on a drug test it most likely will show up as an amphetamine with a drug test in my personal experience.
This is an answer that you must read and follow very carefully. Wait until youre not high anymore, if you are still high then the next step is very dangerous. When its done and you feel like (deleted at the insistance of thy censoring gods of the interweb) have a SMALL amount of alcohol. Mixing uppers(like ritalin) and downers(like alcohol) is very dangerous. However, if you have SMALL amount to drink, something slightly less then a mild buzz, I've found that it counteracts. DO NOT GET DRUNK, DANGEROUS RESULTS LIKE DEATH MAY OCCUR. You have to be careful. Best way to go about it is coolers, one or two, maybe three if you drink alot.
Can I send adderall through us postal service?
No! It is a felony, unless you are registered with the DEA. The only people allowed to mail narcotics are the presciber or the pharmacist to the patient. For example: if you left it home from college or something, your mom needs to take it to your pharmacist and ask them to mail it to you.
What is a high level of Adderall?
Adderall xr's have quit a bit more kick than vyvanse in terms of mg doses. If I want to get a good study session done I'll normally take around 30mg xr of Adderall and will be going pretty good and that's with some tolerance built up.
Adderall contains:
Your bioequivalent doses (in terms of VYVANSE and AdderallXR) would be 30 to 10, 50 to 20, and 70 to 30, respectively. 30 of adderall would be MUCH stronger than 30 of VYVANSE. At one time no one should take more than 40mg adderall xr or more than 70mg's of Vyanse within a 8-10 hour period. Especially if it's your first time using it and you don't have a prescription, which I'm guessing you don't because your asking this. For someone that is prescribed they can take more because it has a little different effect on them most of the time. With those that are prescribed it creates calm and focus away from their ever racing minds. For those without a prescription it creates energy, drive, focus and a strong feeling of self worth.

Is it safe to get started on 80mg of adderall xr?
The FDA recommends to at most take 60 mg per day. Doctors prescribe this in divided doses, of maximum 30 mg a dose every 6 hours.
100mg of adderall, in one dose, could and likely will lead to adverse side effects listed on the PI sheet. The biggest things to worry about are having a heart attack, going into psychosis, liver damage, dehydration, and also, the medication not working anymore because you would be raising your tolerance - which means a nasty withdrawal after.
If you're taking sedatives or NE or dopamine blockers with it, it might not be the same, but adderall also increases norepinephrine and serotonin - which will still cause increased blood pressure risk of stroke and possibly serotonergenic problems.
Please be safe and only take a legally prescribed dosage. It is not worth the pain in the end.
Is it safe for a 6 year old child to take Adderall XR 15mg Clonidine 0.15 mg and Abilify 1 mg?
How can you get your dr. to give you Adderall?
Well, hopefully you are asking the question in sincerity, and not just strategizing a score.
My best advice to you is to approach the conversation with evidence by which to support your argument. Write down all of the symptoms of ADD you are having over the course of a week or so leading up to the appointment. The doctor may still want to test you. If so, do as he says. Don't assume you are entitled to the prescription or even that you have properly diagnosed yourself. You may have a vitamin deficiency or something of the like, and that case another program of treatment might be necessary. A good doctor will do what they believe is helpful for the individual they have sitting in front of them.
What is marinol prescribed for?
Marinol is a type of medicine called a cannabinoid. It attaches to special receptors in the brain stimulating appetite and reducing nausea. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved marinol to treat nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conventional treatments.
Dronabinol is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring compound known as
delta-9-THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) You might recognize THC as the active ingredient of marijuana.
MARINOL is not marijuana. MARINOL does not contain the additional chemicals and impurities associated with marijuana.
There has been some limited use of Marinol to control vomiting in patients undergoing Methotrexate treatments for severe Crohn's but its effects have yet to be well documented. Because appetite suppression is usually a Crohn's patients response to "you eat, you hurt" or "you eat and run to the toilet" treating the Crohn's successfully will in turn treat the lack of appetite.

Can a pharmacy dispense more than 30 day supply of adderall at a time?
Adderall is a Schedule II drug, which are drugs that have a high potential for abuse, but are approved for medical use in the U.S.
The physician cannot write a 90 day supply on one prescription, however, during a visit, you may be given no more than 3 separate prescriptions, with no refills on any of them, as long as they are sequentially dated, so they may not be filled before they are due.
What doses is Adderall available in?
It depends on age, size, tolerance, body chemistry, level of add/adhd, and probably others. There are also two different kinds of adderall, extended release (xr) and immediate release.
Answer:
If you mean the average starting dose of Adderall, then probably 5mg.

Does Adderall come up as a positive for amphetamines in a drug screen?
No; Strattera is in no way chemically similar to amphetamines.
Does Adderall thin your blood?
Since Adderall is a stimulant medication used for ADHD it probably has a vasoconstrictive action (similar to caffeine). Vasoconstriction means that the smaller blood vessels get slightly smaller in order for a larger volume of your blood to be directed to your larger organs. Because of this action, the blood vessels and capillaries that supply blood to you arms, fingers, legs, and toes become smaller which means slightly less circulation which can cause them to become cooler than usual. Cold hands, fingers, feet, and toes doesn't always mean that your blood is "thinner" and there is no literature on Adderall that states that Adderall "thins your blood".
Is there an over the counter remedy that works like adderall?
If you are talking about legal uses of Adderall, no, there are no over the counter ADHD drugs.
If you are talking about trying to use it as a stimulant, caffeine is the only safe stimulant.
Can you take 40 mg of lexapro and 15 mg of adderall xr?
Yes. You can actually take up to 40mg a day. I was on 30mg/daily for about 5 months. It made me gain a ton of weight, but it helped tremendously.
Can adderall xr show up as meth in a urine test?
I can't say for sure but I take Focalin and i tested positive for ecstasy amphetamines and meth even though I had never done any of those drugs so it is likely however it was a cheap home test which is less accurate
When was Adderall introduced onto the market?
The actual brand of amphetamines, Adderall was released in 1996, and XR in 2001.
Can you take Adderall and vyvance?
Zyrtec (cetirizine) and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) have no known major drug to drug interactions, and can be taken safely together. However this combination may cause a increased sedating effect, so until you know how severe this effect is; you shouldn't operate a vehicle/heavy machinery because you could fall asleep at the wheel.
Of course I must insist that you clear this answer with a physician and/or a primary healthcare provider.
Adderall is a central nervous stimulant which affects chemicals in the brain that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control. Adderall is most commonly used to treat ADHD, and also narcolepsy. Adderall is a brand-name for amphetamine. Amphetamine is a controlled substance in most countries and is only dispensed under the authorization of a doctor.
Amphetamine works by increasing two chemicals in the brain: dopamine and norepinephrine. Both chemicals play a role in focus and attention, and by raising these levels amphetamine is able to help a person concentrate and sit still for longer periods of time.
Adderall comes in two formulations: Adderall (Immediate release) and Adderall XR (Extended release). Adderall comes in doses of 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 20, and 30 mg. Adderall XR is available in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 mg doses.
See related questions for information on side effects, what to avoid, and drug interactions.
To put in shortly, Adderall is a combination of 4 amphetamine salts in a 3:1 ratio. Now do your own research...
Can you take adderall and soma and xanax in the same day?
Lexapro should be taken daily. Taper dose down slowly before ever stopping this medication, Xanax can be taken daily but can be addictive if taken for extented use. I recommend taking as needed. Ambien can be used for insomnia but not recommended for long term use. Use when necessary and limited use will insure effectiveness. Adipex can be used daily but diet and exercise more important. This drug will curb appetite but will cause anxiety and insomnia. Not recommended for long term use. Lexapro, Xanax, Ambien and Adipex can be used during the same day but again understand that the Adipex will cause insomnia, and anxiety and when this drug is eliminated, the need for Xanax and Ambien will diminish.
Answer: Adderall is absorbed through your stomach and broken down in your liver and excreted into your bladder, until nature calls. That pretty much sums it up. So yes, this does mean it will show up if you have your urine tested for drugs. hope this helps, Megan. *****
