one disadvantage was that much land was wasted. because the farmers of that time didnt know how to keep soil fresh after growing wheat and barley, it took quite a while for the soil to regain its freshness again

Agriculture means farming

Revolution means a change.

It basically means changes in farming. Lots of new farming methods were introduced. At first people owned a few strips of land scattered over a couple of fields but farmers would swap with each other so they had a big chunk of land instead. Eventually people each had big bits of land which was called enclosures. High farming is the application of science to farming to make new machinery. For example, when the seed drill was invented many people lost their jobs. Farm owners would hire laborours to plant each seed individually but when the seed drill was intruduced many people lost they're jobs. However this saved farmers alot of money.

B/c it was the first time that humans didnt have to rely on nature for foods. people got to live in permanent settlements, which allowed the popluation to skyrocket, the increasing popluation will allow the developemnt of cities and civilizations.

The first people who used a primitive seed drill were the Sumerians at 1.500 BCE. The seed drill was reinvented by Camillo Torello in 1566 AD/ CE. IN 1701 a guy called Jethro Tull improved the drill.
