Can you reuse airsoft bbs?

well that's a hard one! they tecnicly can be reused but there soo cheap its not worth the jam of ur gou

The problem with reusing bb's is that they gather dust/dirt from the first time they are shot and hit something, which is then deposited in your gun. They also might get slightly misshaped, further causing problems. Both of these things can cause damage to you hop up chamber, and eventually lead to jams because of dirt build up in the barrel. If you are using a tight bore barrel I would say absolutely don't reuse bb's. If you have a good hop up unit I would also say absolutely don't reuse bb's. If you have a gun with no hop up and a large diameter barrel (6.06mm and bigger) it should be fine though. Also, spring guns are not affected as severely, so that should be fine too.

How do you connect the battery in the M4 Carbine airsoft gun battery?

If you're replacing a motor:

- Take the motor plate off by using a Phillips head screwdriver

- Dissconnect the wires hooked to the motor

- Pull the motor out

- Put the new motor in

- Connect the wires to the correct connectors (red to red, black to black)

- Push the motor slightly into the gearbox then release pressure (just to make sure it won't stick)

- Put the motor plate back on and screw it back in

If it just accidentally unconnected:

- Take the motor plate off

- Reconnect the wires to the correct connectors

- Check to make sure the motor won't stick

- Put the motor plate back on

Which one is stronger airsoft or pellet?

It depends on what you mean by BB guns. Remember there are also pellet guns to be considered. The average BB gun fires around 300 to 500 FPS (Feet per second) but some can attain a speed over 650 FPS. Pellet guns can reach the speed of 1,600 FPS. Airsoft guns are capable of speeds up to and above 600FPS but usually are around 200 to 400 FPS.

If you got shot with a Airsoft gun traveling at 300 FPS at about 15 feet it would hurt but if it was a smaller BB traveling a 300 FPS it would hurt more because the BB is smaller and the energy is driving a smaller projectile.

Lets talk about STRONG. I define Strong as "Knock down power" Large Pellet guns in the PCP (PerCharged Pneumatic) Class of rifles and guns, come in very large calibers. beyond .177 & .22 they also come in .9MM .45 Cal and 50 Caliber. These pellet guns are capable of bringing down a Moose, Boar or Deer and they are driven by AIR not gun powder.

Spring driven pellet guns / rifles can fire a projectile above 1,200 FPS and are used for small game and rodent control. Have you ever heard of an airsoft gun being used for hunting. Of course not!

So to answer your question, Yes: BB guns are stronger in most cases.

What is the best airsoft scope?

Typically, no. In order to have a scope on your Airsoft gun, you would first need to have a rail system on the gun. Usually, the rail system will be located on the top of the gun where a carrying handle should go. You would also need scope rings if the scope doesn't already have a mount. The place I go to oftem for questions and for purchasing my scopes, accessories, ect. is Airsplat.com. They have the best deals for add ons and other modifications for your gun as well as great prices on Airsoft guns if you find you want to purchase a new one.

How long does a 9.6 volt battery take to charge?

How long it takes to charge any battery depends on how much electrical charge it can hold. The physical size of a battery can give an indication of how much charge it may hold: the larger the battery, the more electrical charge it is likely to be able to hold. or you could just divide the mAh of the battery by the output rate of the charger. ex: 5000 mAh on a 3000 milliamp output charger would be 1hr 36min. and 3300 mAh on the same charger would be 1hr 10min. and so on.

How long should you store a co2 canister in a gun?

Depending on the quality of the tank, it will take around a year to deplete a 20 oz tank. As long as you don't drop it on the valve or put it in the oven, you can keep it functioning until the re-hydro test date.

What batttery should you use as a replacement for the m4 3181 airsoft gun?

I would stick to the 8.4v Ni-MH one it comes with and buy a duplicate because if you use something stronger you'll fry the plastic gearbox.

Can you mount a grenade launcher on your air soft m1a1 thompson?

in theory you could but why would you? It would defeat the purpose of having a pistol. You should just get a stand alone grenade launcher with a pistol grip instead.

What is the best type of airsoft gun to buy?

Definitely AEG's (Airsoft Electric Guns) which are machine guns. The model dosent really matter but I highly recommend the M4A1. I have worked with several M4's and have been happy with each of them. M4's are the most popular airsoft guns for a good reason; They're great guns and are the most upgradeable out there. Plus, since so many people use them, if you run out of ammo you can always borrow a mag from a team mate with another M4 because almost all the clips are the same.

No matter if you get an M4 or any other AEG you want it to be between 350 and 420 FPS with .20 gram BB's. And make sure it has Full Metal interiors.

Check out Airsoftmegastore.com and AirsoftGI.com. These two sites are THE best for buying airsoft guns and have THE best prices out there.

Hope this helped! :-)

Can you play airsoft in public?

no, because people may get hurt when they are walking by and will complain

It also might be illegal where you live (for example in California).

The reason people are pushing for stricter laws against airsoft is because of people who are stupid and irresponsible enough to play in public places. People just passing buy could be seriously hurt, and police officers could mistake airsoft guns for real guns and end up shooting someone for real.

Can you put different airsoft clips in different airsoft guns?

Usually not, but some guns do have interchangeable magazines. For example, the Type 97, FN200, Tar-21, and L85 can all use M4/M16 magazines, but there is always the problem of some magazines not fitting quite right or not feeding well.

Will a 16 gram c02 cartridge fit in a 12 gram airsoft gun?

What age is using an airsoft legal?

Source, Wikipedia.org

United States

  • Under Federal Law,
    • Airsoft guns are not classified as firearms and are legal for all ages under federal law, as well as the laws in each state. However, in some major cities and population centers the definition of a firearm within their respected ordinances includes propulsion by spring or compressed air, thus subject to applicable laws.
    • A 6 mm minimum orange tip must be present on the barrel end of the airsoft gun to identify it as such for any commercial sales. [1] Once sold, local laws may vary on whether or not the orange tip must be kept - in many places, no laws exist restricting one from removing or replacing the orange tip, but one should check the local laws before making such a modification.
    • Airsoft guns' trademarks must be removed where the manufacturer does not have an existing license agreement with the manufacturer of the real fire arm. For example: Classic Army has a licensing agreement with Armalite, so the trademarks can stay on imported replicas of Armalite's weapons. In practice enforcement is hit or miss. You might get an "unlicensed" gun through customs with trademarks intact, while a licensed gun might be held in Customs by an uninformed customs agent. House Resolution 607, sponsored in early 2007, would change this if passed, allowing imports to retain trademarks even if there is no agreement between the real firearms manufacturer and the replica manufacturer.[2]
    • In addition, the similarity between genuine firearms and airsoft replicas is close enough to provoke interaction with local law enforcement personnel if an airsoft gun is carried openly in public.
    • If someone were to, for example, attempt a robbery with an airsoft gun, they would be charged as if the airsoft gun were a real firearm.[citation needed]
  • New York City requires that all realistic toy or imitation firearms be made of clear or brightly colored plastics; furthermore, New York City makes possession of any pistol or rifle or similar instrument in which the propelling force is a spring or air, unlawful without a license. See New York City Administrative Code § 10-131(b) and New York City Administrative Code § 10-131(g)(1)(a)[3]. The rest of New York State is unaffected by these laws, and there are no state regulations limiting or prohibiting airsoft.
  • Michigan allows the purchase of Airsoft guns. However, they must have an orange tip on the barrel.
  • Texas allows Airsoft guns to be owned but most cities require that the Airsoft guns be discharged only while outside city limits.
  • Some cities in Illinois considers shipping or distributing airsoft guns illegal. It is officially now not illegal to remove the red top of the airsoft gun
  • According to New Jersey state law, airsoft guns are classified as firearms, and therefore, must follow state firearm laws regarding posession and purchase. Due to this, "technically", airsofts are legal in New Jersey. If you are going to play, you must do so on a private property.

TAKE SPECIAL NOTE ON THE FACT THAT YOU MUST TREAT AN AIRSOFT GUN LIKE A REAL GUN IN PUBLIC, NEVER TAKE IT OUT OF IT'S CASE UNLESS YOU ARE >>>INSIDE<<< YOUR HOME OR AT AN AIRSOFT FIELD. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL GET YOU ARRESTED OR SHOT (BY REAL STEEL)

New Jersey law does NOT classify airsoft guns as firearms. In fact New Jersey Legislatures have expressly rejected that classification. Because the projectiles are less than 3/8" in diameter they ARE NOT a firearm under New Jersy law. See NJ Statute 2C:39-1.f

Is there any way to legally order an airsoft gun from overseas or the US to Canada or to bring it across the American - Canadian Border?

Yes, however, the gun you are buying must be "Canada-approved" or made specifically for Canada. By that I mean that there certain legal restrictions on what kinds of guns and what color an airsoft gun can be in Canada.

Look for the "Canada-Safe" gun section of most major online airsoft retailers for selection and further explanation.
