Although it cannot breathe underwater, an alligator can hold its breath for up to an hour. A crocodile is an order of reptile that contains both crocodiles and alligators, among other relatives. Like all reptiles, crocodiles have backbones, dry, scaly skin, and are cold-blooded.
Crocodiles have been around for roughly 100 million years.
the bird gets the left over food off the gaters teeth while the gater get his?her teeth cleaned
yes it depends on what snake it is. if it is a smaller snake, then no. but if it is larger then yes.
Yes, I just watched Alligotar Adventure Trip At Myrtle Beach on Utube. It didn't say if it was actually on the beach or a zoo. It was very interesting though.

Elephants have large brains which increases their memory capacity. An elephant's memory can last for a pretty long time. Some even say an elephant never forgets.(10 years)
Crocodiles are smarter than other reptiles because of the proportions of their brains. Snakes, for example have very large areas of the brain devoted to sensory information- in other words, their brains are specialized in receiving information with relatively small areas of the brain for processing information. Crocodiles, meanwhile, have larger areas of the brain devoted to processing the information they recieve than other reptiles, and even a number of mammals.
Alligators start mating whe 8 to 13 old, when they have reached a length of 6 to 7 feet (1.8-2.1 meters).
You can buy one at Walmart. Just look in the aquatic wildlife section by the fish. Hope the answer helps :D
Steve Irwin, the 'Crocodile Hunter' died on September 4, 2006. About 300 million viewers worldwide watched his televised memorial service on Sept 20th (and many in the world grieved his loss and cried for his family). He referred to himself as an "ordinary bloke" but he and his enthusiasm has truly been missed.
One can protect against an alligator attack by taking the right precautions. Before going into water in an area where alligators live, do a careful visual check for any alligators.
It really does not matter what way you run, just run.
No, they are fish, and alligators are reptiles..The name comes from the fact the alligator gar's head resembles an alligator, hence the name.
just tramp your feet.
snakes are more afraid of us than we of them.
they make a really loud mating call, youtube it. its pretty cool. they also hiss alot! and the babys have a special "duck yelp" they do when they feel threatened
Eagles and hawks aren't relatives. They are different. Watch the Suite life of Zack and Cody and see the episode of the hawk.
Alligators eat anything they can catch: turtles, birds, fish, frogs, snakes, raccoons, deer, dogs, cats, etc. Small alligators eat smaller prey, such as dragonflies, frogs, small fish, small snakes, etc.
Basically anything. Goannas, dingos, birds, fish.......ants! These reptiles are at the bottom of the food chain when born so regardless of how cute they are, 95% end up as a meal for something bigger. If they're lucky enough to survive, the tables are generally turned in 10 years.
for freshwater crocodiles(they like to live near to lakes, rivers., etc..,) and for salt-water crocodiles(they live in sea water and some salty lakes..)..
alligators can't breath under water. they have lungs. so yes they do come out of the water when its cold. it's just common scene.

Don't think there's any currently living Shark that'd be able to swallow a human whole. The Sharks that take big prey have teeth designed to take chunks out, which is how they usually eat.
Once in pieces, there are Sharks big enough to eat something human-sized in one meal.
While Sharks do kill a handful of people each year, actually eating people is rare.
