You have to look for the big shadows in the pools of water. The bigger the shadow, the bigger the fish. But don't get your hopes up when you do see a big shadow. If you do not pull the reel in quick enough, you will not catch the fish.

There is a difference between big fish and rare fish. Not all big fish are worth a lot of money. Sea Bass is a very common big fish and is only worth 160 bells. A big fish such as the Stringfish is worth 15,000 bells and is very rare. The more rare the fish is, the harder it is the catch.

you can get a boyfriend/girlfriend in animal crossing city folk. mine is Wolfgang. how? all you have to do is send them love letters and attach roses to it. also be really nice to them and do what they ask. also if you are a certain distance from any AC character in your town and you click on them they will wave at you. but you have to be kind of far and below them, not above. one day the person you like will send you a letter with their pic on it, and that means you are together, but you cant really do anything with him/her, but sometimes if you are together with someone they tell other villagers they like you. that's all i know tho. and im not lying.

There is no set schedule for the silver axe to appear; it's completely randomized. Visiting the island daily is the best way of seeing whether or not that day has a silver axe on display.

Alternatively, buying 50 saplings at the garden store will grant you a golden axe. Unlike the silver axe, it will never break.

The easiest way to get rich is to plant non-native fruit. This is the any of the fruits that were not in your town when you originally started your town. There are 4 ways to get fruit that doesn't come from your town. First you can wait for your mom to mail you-this rarely happens, so don't expect this to work. Sometimes she might send you a fruit that doesn't come from your town. Another way is to go to a friend's town and take some of their fruit if it is different than your native fruit. The third and easiest way is to mail a couple of people in your town. Attach your native fruit, and most likely they will send you a reply with a non-native fruit attached. And the fourth is to wait for one to wash up on the beach, this is usually a coconut, and they are hard to grow. (Non-native fruit sells for 500 bells. Native fruit sells for 100.)
