Well it really depends on how they diet. If they go on a fast, they may lose 5 or 6 lbs a week, so just times that by four. It varies with people, you know? Some peoples bodies will lose weight faster than others.
What is the side effects of aneroxic nervosa?
Because the anorexic is starving themselves, they tend to have numerous health issues, such as low blood pressure, brittle nails, and irregular heart rhythm. In extreme cases the resting heart rate is so low, that the person is near death and/or ends up dying. Because many anorexics also refuse to drink enough water, they can also experience kidney failure. Other effects include psychological problems like anxiety, weakness, dry skin, and shortness of breath. Anorexics also tend to suffer from bone loss due to low food intake. This leads to stunted growth and development of osteoporosis. One of the worst effects of anorexia includes death. As many as 15% of the people suffering from this disease actually die as a direct result of it, either by heart failure, kidney failure, or other organ failure. Many anorexics even commit suicide as a result of the conflicting emotional problems they suffer from.
Some other side effects include: growth of fine hair all over the body, and loss of hair (usually in chunks) on their head. this occurs because they aren't getting the nutrition that they need. Also dizzyness/light-headedness, and fainting.
Also, because your brain and body don't get the nutrition they need, the anorexic is at risk of having heart attacks and seizures, which can become something that effects them for the rest of their lives (there are people who suffered severe anorexia as a teenager, and cannot drive vehicals because they still have seizures because they starved their brain for so long)
When you starve yourself, your body is forced to live off whatever you have in your body. This includes muscles and fat (there is debate on which the body feeds off first) And when the body has used up all its fat reserves and can no longer feed off muscles, it reverts to consuming it's own organs. And death will insue.
hope this helps!!

Does PRO ANA mean practicing anorexia?
It can, yes -- but this is not the sole interpretation. ProAna has many different meanings for different people. ProAna websites vary in their position on the ProAna Movement and in particular beliefs/interpretations therein, as do their members. Most sites are intended as places for people who already have an eating disorder and are seeking support. For many, sites like these are their only source of support whatsoever. Anorexia is experienced as intensely private and personal, and often cause sufferers deep shame. This causes most to endure the rigors of the illness in silence and to take measures to hide their condition until their behaviors and/or wasting physique "out" them to friends and family. The Internet affords anorexics the benefit of human connection for two reasons: 1) It affords them a medium in which they have relative anonymity and thus feel safe enough to divulge these feelings; to connect and share with others who also suffer; and 2) it affords them a medium to locate those who endure similarly and thus not suffer alone.
Some sites affirm that anorexia is a lifestyle and not a disease, and this has become the hallmark point of contention on those opposing the ProAna Movement. The truth is that even most of the sites which proclaim this statement recognize that anorexia nervosa is a genuine illness. In this case, claiming it as a lifestyle and a choice can be a means of empowerment and a potent rejection of being victims of an insidious disease. There are those that practice "volitional anorexia," but such individuals typically have underlying eating disordered symptoms and tendencies to begin with, or do not adhere long to the often harsh, ascetic conditions demanded of such a life choice. ProAna advocates generally reject strongly the notion that such sites "recruit" people to become sick; most have recovery information on-site, and most encourage those in danger to seek medical assistance.

Does Allyson Stonier have anorexia?
Well, there aren't really any records of Alyson Stoner being Anorexic. No reports. no articles, no info at all about it. So no, she's not Anorexic.
Alyson Stoner is small however, but this is just because of the way she's built.
Wow you must love her a lot. Don't worry, she prob thinks that if she gains weight you wont love her. Just make sure you are always there for her.
Is eating 500 calories a day considered as anorexia?
Yes, and No. To be considered "anorexic", there are many factors. Some of those involve heavy restricting of food and drinks and calories. Others involve physical conditions and symptoms (dry skin, organ problems / damage, heart issues, fragile / brtiile hair, discolored nails, ect.), excessive exercsie, and mental problems. Eating 500 calories a day, though, is very unhealthy. That is about 1,000 to 1,500 LESS calories than a person should be eating in a day.
Anorexics will still gorw, just at a stunted pace. (Lack of nutrients prevents proper growth.) Still, people will grow and some will be tall. Many cases of anorexica often happen after most initial growth spruts, so the person will already possibly be tall.
Do anorexic people stop growing?
Most people with anorexia are in their late teens and early twenties, and at this point most growth of the body has stopped. If it occurs early, prolonged anorexia that is left untreated can affect the development of the body in all ways - including growth, sexual maturity, and organs - as the body is deprived of crucial nutrients. In anorexics, it is very common for bones to be weak and brittle as well.
If you are anorexic what do eat everyday?
im 13 years old and i started off by weighing 117 in June and got down to 97.4 lbs in November. i started off by eating just dinner everyday and not caring weather i had bread or anything but than as time went on, i loved loosing the weight but i started to maintain about 110 lbs, that wasnt good enough for me. one day something just clicked inside of me, it was about 5 at night and i was getting ready to go to a Halloween party with my boyfriend and my best friend and my mom had given me and my best friend pizza( that's all i ate the whole day) and i just freaked out on my mom for letting me eat the pizza.Ever since that incident, i knew i was becoming anorexic, after that i would just eat salad, salad, salad for dinner every night. my face looked droopy, i was shaking horribly, i sat in front of my fire place 24/7. I think being skinny is everything. but its extremely dangerous. i now only eat a 90 calorie bar at about 7 at night, i starve myself the whole entire day and just eat that granola bar for dinner. the funny thing is, i couldn't even think about making myself through up, i think that's disgusiting. but i have another issue, if i eat 20 calories more than i reguraly take in during the day( just making an example)i would work out for nearly 3 hours!! All this is a tough thing and it sucks that girls have to go through it, i cant stand it but i cant help it either.
I'm sorry, but WikiAnswers cannot post graphs on this page. Also, please specify your question more, as to what the graph should be about. Thank you!

As girls get older, it is key to encourage support and kindness tomothers, regardless. Negative comments, bullying, and teasing can easily lead t depression, low self esteem, and isolation, all of which have been known to lead to the development of eating disorders. If you had anorexia what would you do?
I am myself both anorexic and bulimic, and people always tell me that I just have to eat, but it's not that easy. You are constantly at war inside your own head. I try to eat at most 200 cal a day, but some evenings, when I have been on a fast for 4-6 days, I crave food so bad, I binge eat, and after that I purge.
Anorexia is a mental illness and you can't just "get over it" for some it takes real long time to recover, and for other it goes much faster. But it's never easy.
When I discovered I was sick, I didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to be healthy, and I still don't because I have a distorted self image. sometimes I feel like I'm not needed here because I just hurt my beloved ones, this brakes my heart but it not enough to keep me from this kind of behaviour.
If you know anyone or if yourself think you've got some kind of eating disorder, I think you should talk about it with a professional. It's not some kind of game and it can be deadly.
Does eating pork make you throw up?
