It is a civil court action. Do not make the mistake of believing that you OWN the vehicle. The lender owns the vehicle up until the day the final payment is made. You undoubtedly signed an agreement, contained within the financing papers, that you agreed to make the required payments on time. When you fail, all the lender has to do is show cause that the contract was not honored and apply for repossession in order to recover his property.

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, but what do you mean by felon? Someone convicted of a felony 10 years ago that has completed their sentence is still a convicted felon. There is no law forbidding them to drink. Someone on active probation/parole can drink unless they are specifically ordered not to drink. A positive urinalysis for alcohol is not a violation unless they are ordered not to drink.

They went on to say the clear purpose of the Arkansas statute against the teaching of evolution was to protect a particular religious view, and was thus unconstitutional. In a decision written by Justice Abe Fortas, the Court held,

The overriding fact is that Arkansas' law selects from the body of knowledge a particular segment which it proscribes for the sole reason that it is deemed to conflict with a particular religious doctrine; that is, with a particular interpretation of the Book of Genesis by a particular religious group.
