How many countries does Asda sell in?

Although this changes on a regular basis due to the nature of the ever changing market and of course the changes in consumer 'need', the average number of products sold by ASDA is 25,421 at any given time. The average products sold on a daily basis is 325,254,198. Interestingly the study into this showed that both Tesco and Sainsburys sell more product types than ASDA, despite ASDA stores having an average extra floor space of 16 cubic metres. It was found that 10% of floor space in the average ASDA store was wasted on their overly large entrances and electronics departments with isles 4 times the size of the average supermarket. If ASDA were to reduce these things they would be able to add another 1,873 items to their shelves, as depicted in the 'shelf space study' conducted by ASDA's CEO, Mike Dubble, which coincidentally showed that ASDA shelfs were 12% deeper than other retailers, meaning that ASDA's stock holding is higher thus increasing their monthly spend. CEO Mike Dubble changed this in 2011 and calculated that decreasing the depth of the shelves by 10% would decrease their stock holding and thus decrease wastage and incremental spend. The last point to make here is that I am talking rubbish and I am unsure of how many people will ever read this, but if you do, please let m know at adsmail1@yahoo.co.uk. thanks for reading and I am sorry you did not find the answer you were looking for, neither did I :(

Can you eat chocolate after it's ten years old?

Does asda sell alcohol 24 hours a day?

It depends on the individual store. Each branch of Asda has its own alcohol licence (which is issued by the local authority where the store is located) that stipulates the times alcohol can be sold (and also times the shop may open to the public). Many Asda stores are permitted to sell alcohol 24 hours a day but some are not (some stores are permitted to open 24 hours a day, but are still not able to sell alcohol 24 hours).

Due to Sunday trading laws, large supermarkets in England & Wales are only allowed to open for 6 hours on Sunday, which means they can't stay open after 11:59PM on a Saturday night (so you won't be able to buy alcohol late at night on Saturday night/Sunday morning or Sunday night/Monday morning). Only small convenience stores/off licences can open 24 hours on Sunday.

Supermarkets in Scotland are allowed to open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as there are no restrictions on shops opening 24 hours on Sundays in Scotland, however, shops are only allowed to sell alcohol from 10am - 10pm in Scotland.

See "Sources and related links" (below) to find shops that have 24 hour alcohol licences.

What is the address of asda head office complaints department?

I don't know if this is the right place to make a complaint, I bought some goods in asda's yesterday the amount come to £37.00 I was told by the lady on the till if I spend another £3.00 I will be able to claim £5.00 back after 6pm that night which turned out to be 6am the following morning, I put the details of the receipt in the right boxes like she said and was told I didn't have any items to compare prices, I then went to put my details in to claim my £5.00 and was told I couldn't because I didn't have any products to compare, so why was I told to buy something else worth £3.00 or more to make it up to the £40.00

I feel I have been ripped off spending another £3.00 when I had the wrong goods to claim. I hope you do something about this.

Kind Regards,
