After guaranteeing that the corpse was where it was supposed to be, they rolled the stone back in place and then sealed it with the official seal of the governor of Rome.
After hearing the suspicions of the chief priests and Pharisees, "Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can" (Matthew 27:65). The word "watch" is the Greek word coustodia, from which we get the word custodian. This was a group of four Roman soldiers whose shift changed every three hours. The changing shifts assured that the tomb would be guarded 24 hours a day by soldiers who were awake, attentive, and fully alert. When Pilate said, "Ye have a watch…," a better rendering would be, "Here - I'm giving you a set of soldiers; take them and guard the tomb."

BUT I think if we were to go by 15th century standards, he would likely be 5ft 6inches (about 1.7 metres in height), yup, people weren't too tall back then.. but it fits with his free running and everything. I think he would be shortish and light. That really helps if you have to keep pulling yourself up. The more you weigh, the harder it is to pull yourself up. And you will weigh more if you are taller too.... I think ideally he should be around the same height-weight range as Alain Robert the french spiderman.. (that's about 5 ft 5 in and 105 lbs)
Also when you consider the diet back then, it was mostly pottage with veggies, I don't see people growing very big and tall on that.
But take heart folks.... short doesn't mean weak. It has always amazed me how some very short people are also very strong. it's all that connective tissue and how often they are used in a full range of motion..
