The normal non-commemorative Australian 50 cent coin has the kangaroo and emu on the reverse as a part of the Australian Coat of Arms.

KG is not a mintmark, it is the initials of the designer of the (kangaroo) reverse of the Australian 1938 to 1964 Penny and Halfpenny coins, George Kruger Gray.

1940 and 1941 Pennies minted at the Perth mint have a dot between the K and the G (K.G) as the mintmark.

An Australian 1 cent coin issued between 1966 and 1990, uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $4 AUD at best. All Australian Pennies from 1938 to 1964 had the initials KG just above the tail of the kangaroo.

It is not a mintmark, it is the initials of the designer of the reverse side of the coin, George Kruger Gray.

The pygmy glider does not appear on any coin. When Australia still had one cent coins, the feathertail glider appeared on this coin.

An Australian 1967(?) Two Dollar note (Coombes/Randall), uncirculated and in absolute mint condition could fetch up to $295 AUD. If it has circulated but still in good condition, it might fetch anything from $40 to $110 AUD.

The Australian Two Dollar note is no longer in circulation and was progressively withdrawn from circulation from 1988.
