I don't know what history books you've been reading or who taught you history at school but the Aztecs never settled in England.

The Aztecs original name is "Mexica", europeans called them Aztecs because of Aztlan, the area basicaly western u.s.(California) It's not the proper name to call them unless they we're still in Aztlan, Mexica are what they are. You pronounce it like Mexico but the x makes a sh sound. ME-SHE-KA...............lmao :P

Some did, some didn't. Initially there was collaboration (and more) because they thought the Spanish leader was their god Quetzalcoatl, 'the feathered serpent', who was supposed to return to them. Later, by which I mean a few months later, things turned nasty and remained that way for the next four-hundred years.

The Aztecs relied on markets and merchants to move goods from producer to consumer. The volume of goods that moved through Aztec markets was enormous. Aztec markets and trade were largely independent of the state. Some Aztec markets specialized in particular types of goods. Aztec markets were not just economic institutions; they also served an important social function. Marketing was the one activity that allowed the average person to get ahead economically.

The Aztecs lived by farming and hunting before contact with the Europeans. The Aztecs worshiped Gods like the sun and the moon and made human sacrifices to pray to the Gods for a good crop. They were a very self-sufficient people.

As skilled and fierce warriors, the Aztecs quickly grew in power over other groups and developed a significant framework of trading. The Aztecs continued to grow in strength and widen their area of influence up to the Spanish Inquisition.
