Foraminal Stenosis means the nerve roots exiting through the holes from the spine have been seriously narrowed. You can consult a surgeon to see whether surgery will help you. Physical Therapy might provide some pain relief, if advised by your doctor. You should ask your doctor about filing for SSDI or SSD if you can no longer work.

NOTE: This condition does not get better by ignoring it.

Pain that severe is typical of a disk herniation in the upper lumbar or thoracic region. Sharp pain indicates a nerve problem, and when the back is involved it typically means a disk is pressing on a nerve.

Depending on where the pain path runs, you can determine which disk is likely involved. Nerves in the lumbar area will typically radiate pain past the waist and into the legs, where thoracic problems will affect the lungs and other organs of the upper torso region. I've included a link to a spinal nerve chart below that will show and tell you what areas of the body are affected.

If the pain is that severe, don't wait to get it diagnosed, and go to a Neurosurgeon to have it done. Though they'll typically order an MRI or CT to verify it, usually with an office exam they can determine what your problem is by the pain and symptoms you're dealing with. It's also important that you limit your physical activity to avoid aggravating the problem further. Trust me when I tell you that you don't want the long term problems I and many others have had with spinal issues if that is indeed your problem. Do what it takes to get it dealt with immediately, and stay off your feet as much as possible. No lifting either, and by "off your feet" I mean lying down. Standing or sitting puts more pressure on the spine and makes it worse. Of course if it is a spinal problem, you've probably already noticed you feel less pain while lying down. Make sure you lay on your side, not on the back or stomach either - that also increases pressure on the spine. On your side in a fetal position with a large cushion between your knees is the most comfortable for most people, with a pillow behind you to keep from rolling, and another in front to keep from rolling on your stomach.

Not to say it's impossible, but I've never heard of upper back pain being a sign or symptom of pregnancy(at least not in the earlier months.)I've heard of(and experienced) back pain(upper and lower)in the last months due to the weight and size of the baby.

The vertebral foramen (the hole that allows a nerve to extend from your spinal cord down to the left leg) between your 5th lumbar vertebra and the sacrum has been narrowed. This is, more than likely, due to a disc herniation. As the foramen narrows, the spinal nerve can become compressed. The components of the body that receive their information from that nerve become affected. This usually involves a shooting pain sensation (from the left buttock, possibly down the back of the leg, possibly down the inside of the calf, possibly to the big toe), muscle weakness in the leg (usually presenting as a foot drop or difficulty raising the foot), or both. Sometimes the bladder or the prostate gland can be affected. Best see a chiropractor.

It might be a kidney problem. See a doctor. It is serious even if it is not a kidney problem.

Hernias, if left untreated, can lead to this combination of symptoms, as could testicular cancer. It's entirely possible they aren't relating symptoms at all. Going under the assumption these are tied together though, it would be important to see a urologist with either scenario a possibility, to rule them out. Only a trained medical professional can tell you for certain. Both can be treated rather routinely if dealt with promptly.

Pain centered in the lower back can be as simple as a nagging ache or as a severe, debilitating pain. Simple stretches and yoga exercises can loosen tight muscles that contribute to lower back pain. A cat stretch or superman stretch performed twice a day can greatly relieve the most severely afflicted. If the underlying reason for the low back pain is kidney related, be sure to consume plenty of water and food rich in anti-oxidants. This will keep the kidneys working in optimal condition and eliminate low back pain.

A foramen is a hole.  Stenosis is a narrowing of that hole.  Your spine is made up of bones called vertebrae that are named by their region (cervical, thoracic, & lumbar - C, T, & L) & the number from the top.  L4 & L5 are the 4th & 5th lumbar vertebrae, & they are the lowest vertebrae in the spine.  L4 & L5 come together and form a hole on each side (right and left) that is called a neural foramen.  Out of that neural foramen comes your right and left L4 nerve.  If there is foraminal stenosis at the bilateral L4-5 foramina, then you may be encroaching upon or pinching those right and left L4 nerves.

I think it may mean that you might have a sines behind your ear that could make it hurt. Or most people may also think they probably banged it but if it gets to serous you should probably see a,docter or a specilest.

Addendum: Dicoflenac is an anti-inflammatory, not an analgesic (painkiller). However, the reduction of inflammation will usually reduce pain.

Cramping during pregnancy, unfortunately, can mean multiple things; some are okay and some are not so good. alright let me tell you a story. i had pendisidous for 7 months without knowing. i went through excruciating pain which involved screaming and fevers up to 108. if i would have waited my appendix would have ruptured throught my ENTIRE body. can you imagine? something exploding inside your own body, ouch! so go to a doctor and have them check it out. dont do what i did and wait around thinking that it will stop. its better safe than sorry. trust me!

If it hurts more with bending and twisting, it is most likely muscle-related. It it hurts when someone pushes on your abdomen, but not when you bend or twist, then it is more apt to be internal. There are hernias that can cause a bulging in the area you indicate, but I doubt that a hernia in the front-side of your abdomen would be a cause of back pain, unless you have more than one thing going on... If this continues, or begins to get worse, then I strongly suggest you be seen by your family doctor for possible Xrays, etc and surgical referral...

I usually take ibuprofen or tylenol,i have bad lower back pain all the time,just be careful about how much your taking,ok?

Without an exam, I can only suggest: Maintain an ideal weight, exercise, and take anti-inflammatory medication (if you do not have an ulcer) and Tylenol for pain... It wouldn't hurt to have a doctor or physician-extender examine you, either.
