Can you attend church during your monthly period and receive communion?
I know of no Christian church that restricts anything to a menstruating woman.
AnswerAs men and women are 'heirs together of the grace of life' and God who made man (generic) made the species homo sapiens both male and female and since the New Testament, which is clearly the context of the question, specifically indicates that gender is not an issue in that all are one in Christ Jesus then the only answer can be that this is not as issue for the New Testament church of today. The Old Testament laws regarding a person being ceremonially unclean are not relevant here. These have passed away in regard to their relevance for Christians, although I believe some orthodox Jews may still observe some of them.
Let's analyze the question closely. Before a woman with a "MONTHLY PERIOD" can "RECEIVE COMMUNION", first she must "ATTEND CHURCH." The Old Testament prohibits menstruating woman from entering church and only allowed up to the outer side of the church door (Leviticus 15:19-29)..And if Matthew 5:17-19 (New Testaments) is really Jesus' words, then; menstruating women cannot "ATTEND CHURCH." If she cannot "ATTEND CHURCH" , then she cannot "RECEIVE COMMUNION inside the church. However, I can't find any restrictions in the New Testament about a menstruating women receiving communion. So maybe if the services is held outdoors, then, maybe, she can receive communion.
Quick reference
Leviticus 15:29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven

AnswerIn relation to the above answer it must be asserted that it is both theologically and factually incorrect. The context is clearly the Christian church as the Old Testament does not have church or communion. As detailed below the Old Testament ceremonial laws do not apply to Christians.Secondly, verses taken out of context from the Bible do not prove an argument. Church is not mentioned in the context. The Old Testament religious worship was quite different. And 'Communion' is most certainly not mentioned and could not have been as it did not exist until about 1430 years later!
The words of Jesus from Matthew 5v17 are also de-contextualised and do not apply here as they refer to his work which fulfilled the law and the work of grace in believers who then fulfil the law through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus as the ultimate author of the law understood its meaning correctly contrary to the religious teachers of His day who He called 'blind guides' and 'fools'. Many of their regulations had gotten in the way of both love and true spiritual worship. The law was meant to help not hinder this. Thus, the final abolition of the law as symbolized by the rending of the veil at Jesus death, indicated that His sacrificial death was the final and complete fulfilment referred to in Matthew 5v 17.
Thirdly, it would be a quite simple matter to verify the accuracy of the above-mentioned proposition. If one single Christian church can be found that practices this, then the 'evidence' could be discreetly posted. It has nothing whatsoever to do with New Testament either indoors or out of doors.
On the other hand many followers of Judaism still follow the Mosaic law, where it can be applied either directly or in principle to today. An example is in relation to sabbath keeping and the prohibition against work. Lifts are provided and set so that they stop on every floor of a building to alleviate the necessity for a person to perform the work of pressing the button. In certain situations a 'sabbath days journey' is specifically defined by markers to avoid the breaking of this precept.
Christians have clearly been set free from following the provisions of the Mosaic law as Jesus' finished work on the cross fulfilled the law and superseded it. This was symbolized by the tearing of the thick curtain in the temple. Numerous New Testament scriptures demonstrate this.
For the law was given by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John 1 v 17
Now we know that what things soever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped , and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no person be justified in his sight for by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3 v 19-20
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Galatians 3 v 24
Knowing this that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law, for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.Galatians2v16
The first council of the Christian church held at Jerusalem and presided over by James the brother of Jesus, specifically addressed this issue. Only a very few provisions were seen as being still relevant for non-Jews to follow. This discussion is recorded in Acts 15. This would have been an appropriate place to discuss the continued relevance of the law regarding women attending worship as the place of the law was specifically under discussion. In other places in the New Testament where women are discussed there also is no mention of this issue, thus, in a sense, this is all an 'argument from silence.'
Jesus' statement in Matthew 5 v 17-18 means simply that he himself was to fulfill the law perfectly, which he certainly did. The law, being given by God himself is certainly inspired and its chief purpose was to point to Christ and to show people their need of a savior. The book of Hebrews discusses much of this at length. The book of James and any other verses cited to prove that a Christian is to obey the law of Moses or do works for either salvation or in relation to church life and practice are simply taken out of context and/or misunderstood and misapplied.
In conclusion, the New Testament church and the Old Testament ceremonial religious practices have little in common. The New Testament is much more inclusive and universal in its application.
you may attend the church during your monthly period but you can't receive communion because we all believe that we take the blood of JESUS while the communion so it makes no sense to take the blood of JESUS and then to throw it out of your body...it is a precious jewel that you should keep it and not to throw it...
Who is the first black person in the Bible?
That is still a mystery as far as who was the first black person in the Bible. Some have said that the Hebrews were black. When they were slaves in Egypt they were similar in color. Moses' wife Zipporah was an Ethiopian, too. Deuteronomy 28:64-66 mentions that the Hebrews would be put on ships and sold again as slaves.
How do you ask out the pastors daughter?
The same way you would any other persons daughter. Depending on your age, you could do it the old fashioned way and ask the Pastor if it was alright. This can only help your chances. It would probably shock the Pastor enough that you thought to ask that you would at least get the first date. I assume the Pastor's daughter is aware of your interest? If she is, you could both approach the Pastor and ask together. Again, that would only help. Be polite, speak well, hold your head up and go for it.
The Southern Baptist Convention is a Christian Protestant denomination based in the United States. It is a coalition of over 45,000 congregations that agree on a common doctrine and belief structure. What is the difference between a senior minister and a pastor?
In the Catholic Church, and in some other churches with a 'catholic' character, 'priest' is one of three orders of ordained ministry (bishop, presbyter/priest, deacon). 'Pastor' is the title, and job description, of a priest who is given responsibility for a parish.
Not all priests are pastors, and not all ministers are priests. Sometimes, the person given the job of pastor is not a priest, and is usually given a different title, like 'pastoral life coordinator' or 'pastoral administrator' (cf, CIC 517.2).
In many evangelical churches, all ordained ministers are called 'pastor', (youth pastor, children's pastor, worship pastor, etc) and the pastor given responsibility for a parish or congregation is called the 'senior pastor'. Some churches only consider one order of ordained ministers, which may be called pastors or ministers.
Can a pastor take money from a church without asking?
I cannot see any reason why he should not. If he has sufficient monies to support himself he could domate it back to the church. I am sure that the local church could put the money to good use.
What clothes do baptists wear?
Baptists wear the same type clothing as anyone else does. Some women wear dresses and blouses/skirts, some wear pants. Some men wear suits, some wear slacks and a shirt, and some even wear jeans.

Why do Baptist ushers wear white suits?
The same reason that Presidents, coaches, businessmen, and other people wear suits. It shows that you are a professional, respectable person. It is not a requirement in the Bible but an expectation of society.
How many US Presidents have been Baptist?

Do the seventh day baptists' keep the sabbath?
Most baptists worship on Sunday, but there is a group of churches that worship on Saturday.
Most Baptists believe thatwhat Jesus said in Mark 2:27 "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." Means that the day of observance is not as important as the fact that it is observed at all.
One may not reliably assert one set of principles over another set of principles as being "the" baptist doctrine. This is because of the most common principle among those who consider themselves baptists: Every person is free to answer the holy spirit's call to relationship with God by freely and willingly accepting the gift of faith in Jesus as being God, that answer being the confession "Jesus is Lord." The same spirit enables the person to understand the spiritual truths found in scripture and communicate with God directly, because a person subject to Jesus' authority by virtue of a freely given confession before other people, remains free to obey (or disobey) his/her conscience, which by the presence of the holy spirit reveals what is true.
This is as far as I will go in answering this question because I have already implied many specific beliefs derived from both historical tradition and the traditions of faith recorded in scripture, the scope and content of which is itself a tradition. These beliefs or doctrines include: authority of scripture (else how would we know about a god, a holy spirit, and Jesus), free will, god and man may be in direct relationship by virtue of god's gift of faith and a person's uncoerced choice to confess.
The spirit of god does not confuse however, and in many points believers share understanding of basic spiritual truths, and what the scriptures are saying. On such common ground and in particular the shared confession, Jesus is Lord, are baptist churches formed.
However, this priveledge of relationship to Jesus does not authorize a confessing person to impose the judgment of his/her conscience upon another person who also confesses "Jesus is Lord." Each confessing person is responsible for obeying his/her conscience respectful of the leading of the holy spirit to follow Jesus example.

What we ask in the lords prayer?
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen.
The passion of our Lord, Jesus Christ according to John..
Passion meaning the sufferings that Our Lord went through from the Agony in the Garden, the scourging at the pillar, the crowning with thorns, the carrying of the cross and the ultimate cruxifixion and death.
If Jesus died for everyone's sins why do some people still go to hell?
Jesus died on the cross making a way for us to go to heaven. He said that whosoever believes in me shall have eternal life. The people who die and go to hell are the people who were given chances to accept Jesus, instead they wanted to live for this world. God gives us this free gift of salvation, we just have to reach out with our hand and accept it.
I placed on this question a website to help you find an answer to your question. In the search bar, type: Hell and Resurrection. Ask any of Jehovah's Witnesses you may meet to explain it to you.
First of all, EVERYONE who dies goes to the grave: Hell, Hades, Sheol. There is no Fiery Hell. This is a pagan tradition used to keep the people in line.
For instance: Ecclesiastes 9:10 says: "All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going".
I can assure you that even Hell itself will be done away with in the near future: At Revelation 20:13,14 we are assured: "And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Ha′des gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire".
Now if Hell, Hades, or Sheol were a literal place of fiery torment, how could they be burned in a literal lake of fire?
This is the purpose of the resurrection. Hell, Hades, Sheol all will be emptied and as the Apostle Paul said: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous".
A Christian answer would be: Jesus died for the sins of those who accept Him as their lord and savior. When they say that He died for everyone's sins, it just means that everyone has the chance for eternal life but it does not mean that everyone goes to heaven just because Jesus chose to die for our sins. Some people still go to Hell because they choose to live a false life without accepting Jesus to be a part of it. My answer: Imagine that life is like a thousand trains running on one track, straight to heaven. Jesus died for the sins of all of the people riding on all of the trains but for some reason, some of the people choose to jump off and take their chances in the countryside the train is traveling through. Those people will not be able to get back on the train they were riding but can jump back on another train when it comes along. What happens to these people if they die before getting back on another train? Christians would say that these people would go to Hell. I do not believe that there is a place called Hell where bodies are continually burned for sins. It would not be possible for us to feel that kind of pain when we no longer have a physical body. Hell is actually, life without the presence of God. And if God is "all things good", then Hell would be "all things bad".
Do baptist church teach capital punishment?
Baptist as a denomination is made of autonomous churches, each made of individuals seeking out their own salvation as encouraged by Paul in the Bible. Old Testament laws had capital punishment and it was not addressed in the New Testament. The New Testament does encourage us all to have love and to express God's love to our fellowmen. The topic of capital punishment is not only a personal one but one of political consequence. Personally I am scared of capital punishment because I would never want to condemn someone to death and find out later that the person was not guilty of the crime of which he was condemned. Yet, I have not and probably will not fight against the law.
What is an independent Baptist?
An Independent Baptist church is just that-- independent. They hold to the fundamentals of faith: the virgin birth, deity AND humanity of Christ, the trinity, inspired KING JAMES VERSION of the Bible for English speaking people, etc. They are independent by not being a part of an association or convention. Although we do like to fellowship of those with a like mind as us, we are not a part of anything formal fellowships. Not all Independent Baptist churches are the same. Most hold to conservative beliefs and music and dress, where others do not. I am an Independent Baptist, and at my church most of the the women wear skirts and wear modest clothing (we do not condemn those who do not, but it is our conviction) but some do not have convictions or preach against wearing pants. We only use the Red Book Church Hymnal for congregation singing and use traditional Gospel music, but some use contemporary music. It varies on what region of the country you are in and just the individual church you attend. Hope that helped!
Why don't Baptists wear crucifixes?
The Baptists believe that the cross is now empty because Jesus rose from the dead. As for religious jewelry, Baptist wear crosses but do not wear crucifixes for that reason.
ANSWER
I don't promote the use of a crucifix because our Lord has risen. He was not left dead on the cross. He was put in a tomb and rose three days later back to life. So to constantly look upon the dead Jesus on the cross is only half the story. The Lord Jesus Christ is risen so we show an empty cross. The Cross itself is the sign of our salvation. For as the cross was the place of the perfect sacrifice...it has become the sign of the tool by which our salvation was accomplished. The cross itself is nothing except a reminder that our Lord suffered and died upon it to give us life eternal.Amen...
AMEN!!
ANSWER:
Baptists, like other Protestants, don't wear crucifixes because it goes against the teachings of John Calvin (one of the main reformers). Calvin believed that any image of God was idolatry. Therefore, if you go in a Baptist church, you won't see any Stations of the Cross, images of the Holy Family, or Jesus on the Cross. They leave it empty because it is their way of showing that He is risen and no longer on the Cross.
However, Catholics (like myself) keep Jesus on the Cross, not to say that He is not risen but to remind ourselves of the suffering he did FOR us. A lot of Protestants will tell you otherwise and make you think the Crucifix is "wrong".
What was unusual about John the Baptist's birth?
This may seem an unlikely story, because Luke was written no earlier than the 90s of the first century, more than a hundred years after the events portrayed in this story. We at least need to know where the author of Luke learnt of these details. Luke's Gospel is known as a 'synoptic' gospel because when laid alongside Mark's Gospel (and Matthew's) and read synoptically ('with the same eye') in the original Greek language, it can be established that Luke was based on Mark. Moreover, the 'Missing Block' demonstrates that where Luke's source was incomplete, he was unable to fill the gap with information from any other source or inspiration.
Uta Ranke-Heinemann (Putting Away Childish Things) suggests that the author of Luke created the story of John's birth, a view that would be hard to refute since Luke's knowledge about Jesus was based on sources like Mark, which tells nothing of the birth of John. We really know nothing about the birth of John the Baptist and can not say whether there was anything unusual.
The first New Testament gospel, now known as Mark's Gospel, was written approximately 70 CE. The Gospels of Matthew and Luke were substantially based on Mark. John's Gospel, in turn, was loosely based on Luke early in the second century.
What are 3 symbols of baptist?
The only symbol for people of the various Baptist denomination of the Christian faith is the Cross.
This cross is always depicted as empty, unlike the Catholic Cross or crucifix which still has the image of our risen Savior on it.
It is empty because Jesus Christ work on the cross is, as in Christ's own words, FINISHED!
Praise God!
What are the differences between Russian orthodox between baptist?
