Is it harder to hit a baseball or a softball?

a baseball is smaller so to me it would be harder to hit and it comes at you at like 90 mph and its not underhand so it would be way harder

That's absolutely wrong. Softballs are bigger than the bat is so you have to get just the right angle on it when you hit it to get a solid hit. Baseballs however are smaller than the bat so when you hit it you have a 70% chance it will hit the ball at a good angle. Also baseballs are thrown down, but softballs are thrown level. it is a proven fact that it is easier to lower your bat than it is to raise it. As for the speed difference, baseball pitchers are 66.6 ft away (correct me if I'm wrong) softball pitchers are only 45 ft away. it has been tested that a 60 mph pitch in softball is equivalent to a 90mph pitch in baseball. so therefore hitting a softball is much harder.

How much is a baseball signed by the entire 1975 Minnesota Twins baseball team worth?

A 1984 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Anderson, Trammell, Whitaker, Morris, Johnson, Gibson, and Hernandez is worth about $350.-$500.

Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less. For more information on team signed baseballs, links to full team rosters, key signatures, and price guide visit the following page from the link I left below.

What are the skills needed for a pro baseball player?

Well first of all, it'll be good to have a good hand/eye cordination so you can hit the ball. Second, it'll be good to be a fast runner. You probably would work out some to be able to hit the ball far so you can cover more bases. If you can't do much of this, it's OK 'cause not everbody is good at sports. Besides, its only a game, it doesn't matter. Just be yourself when you play. If this doesn't answer your question, sorry, try somebody or somewhere else to answer it. Hope it does help!

How many home runs did Babe Ruth hit his first season?

The most home runs Babe Ruth ever hit in one season is 60, in 1927. This stood as the single-season home run record until Roger Maris hit 61 in 1961, although many fans discounted Maris' record because the regular season in 1961 was longer than in Ruth's day, 162 games instead of 154.

Maris' record was broken in 1998 by Mark McGwire, who hit 70 homers during that season. McGwire's record was soon broken by Barry Bonds, who hit 73 in 2001. That record still stands in 2010. Both McGwire and Bonds have since been associated with baseball's steroids scandal, leading many to discount their records as well.

Now- nothing except some terms such as referees, penalties and goals. Initially the game of football (soccer) allowed handling of the ball. The ball carrier could kick forward OR carry the ball backward to their team mate. When the changed in 1823 a young lad named William Web Ellis picked up the ball ad instead of running backward or "hacking" the ball forward, he ran forward with the ball. Later when the Football association decided to make handling an offense the game spilt and the Rugby Football Union was formed. There is an old saying that freqents this question. What is the purpose of shortstop?

Shortstops have one main duty, fielding balls hit to their position. When a fly ball is hit to them(either a line drive or pop-up) the player has to catch it, making sure that they don't collide with other fielders trying to make the same play. When a ground ball is hit to them, a shortstop has to throw to a base to get a runner out. Shortstops also cover second base for double plays when the ball is hit to the second baseman. Finally, they(or the second baseman) cover second base on a steal or pick off attempt.
