The Cb1 was a Corkball bat manufactured by Hillerich and bradsby for the most part, the Saint Louis market. It was made between the 30s and early 60s, for a game called Corkball, mainly played behind bars using the cork from a beer keg wrapped in tape for the ball. The rules are fairly simple, there's a pitcher a catcher and a hitter, if the batter misses and the catcher catches the ball, it's an out, if the hitter hits it and the pitcher misses it it's a hit; there are no actual base runners, it's a ghost running type situation. There are now actual cork balls that resemble tiny baseballs, and Markwort in Saint Louis currently is the only company that produces Corkball equipment. It's still played in many neighborhoods in Saint Louis.

A walk off hit is a hit that ends the game. This term was coined in reference to the opposing pitcher having to "walk off" the mound in defeat. However, the winning team also gets to walk off, with a in.

A walk off win can only happen when the game is in the 9th inning or later (extra innings) and the home team scores the winning run.

RBI in baseball stands for Runs Batted In. It is the amount of runs scored in a game as a direct result of a particular batters at bats. So, if there is a man on third and the batter gets a base hit and the run scores, the batter got a run batted in for that at-bat. This is tallied throughout the game and season. The batter does not have to get a base hit in order to get a RBI. He can get an RBI for any run that scores directly as a result of:

- base hit

- draws a bases loaded walk

- gets a HBP (Hit By Pitch) with bases loaded

- Sacrifice Fly

- Sacrifice Bunt

- Fielder's Choice (in which a runner advance home on the batted ball, not the throws)

Additionally, there are are several situations in which a batter can get an RBI, the most notable way he does not get an RBI is on a fielding error, or any run the was determined would have not scored without the aid of an error on that particular play.

RBI also stands for Reserve Bank of India. It is India's Central Bank. It is the authority that announces India's Monetary policy.

In the military RBI stands for "Recruiter Background Investigation."

6 players are allowed on the court at one time for one team at the beginning of the game. If a player were to be injured during the game and there are not any substitutions, then you can continue to play with 5 players.

A warm basball would travel further since the molecules in the ball are moving faster than if it was colder. Although this change of temperature would be very insignificant in everyday life. There would be a greeter affect in the distance if the bat was warm compared to the ball being warm. So if you wan't the ball to travel far have a warm bat and then it will have a lot of 'pop'. If you hit it with a bat, a warm ball will go further. The molecules in the ball are held together less tightly and are more bouncy, so instead of work being done by vibrating the bat, all energy is transferred into the ball.

Yes, you do have to be certified to be a little league coach. You can be certified online or find some where you can be certified!

A fly ball is when the ball is hit high up in the air. A fly ball is almost always caught, so a line drive is the best thing to hit in softball.....Or its a sport where you use flies to push a ball into a goal.

If you redshirt before you transfer, you have to sit out a year and lose a year of eligibility. If you transfer before your redshirt, the year you sit out can be your redshirt year. This is goin for division 1 to division 1. I believe if you go from division 1 to a smaller division, you don't have to sit out a year.

Two wild card teams from each league makes the MLB playoff each year. As of 2012 there is a one game wild card playoff between the two best records in each league who didn't win their division.

It is all down to preference. I have used both bats and see the Voodoo as a slight difference in weight (heavier) but I have also gotten more pop with it. The CF5 will give you much more bat speed. I prefer the Voodoo. It's a great bat with serious pop and increases over time.

But even if it is, then it is indeed a blown save. He gave up the run even if it is unearned. He was expected to close the game out / earn a save and he blew it.

Yes he is. His ERA wouldn't be affected, but if he gives up the tying run under any circumstances, he is charged with a blown save.

No, major league players come from all ranks, high school, community college and full colleges. In the past, some major league players were still in high school, or dropped out of school and played. Not recommended.

Yes, the ball is live, so there are several ways the batter-runner could be called out after a walk. One would be if he goes from the batter's box into the dugout; another would be if he goes to 1st base, then rounds it and is tagged. I'm sure there are more.
