Materials that were used in the olden days?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The desks fit only two people and were able to lift up, they were made out of wood and weren't very smooth. The classroom wasn't very big, they were in cabins and up high. The teacher didn't have any whiteboards they only had chalkboards and chalk.

The stationary equipment such as pencils were practically the same and same with rubbers and other stuff. But some of they're books were made out of different type paper. They supplied all the equipment for free and it was all payed for by the government. To be a member in the school as a student was also very cheap as the government helped with that too. (I know this isn't about the equipment but if they were naught they'd get smacked by the teacher, whipped by a cane or a metal chain would be rubbed against the disobedient studens wrist.)

If a basketball is left outside all night in the winter what happens?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Depends on how cold you can get it. Most materials get more brittle when they get colder, and this also applies to a basketball. However, putting them in a freezer won't be enough for anything to really happen. But if you have access to liquid nitrogen, then a basket ball can be cooled to the point where it will shatter if dropped.

Hamilton suffered a broken nose 3 time and needed surgery to repair it. He wears the mask to prevent another injury. Hamilton said in an interview with IGN Sports: "I continued to wear the face mask for protection. It was not something that I did to help me concentrate on the court at all. I continued to wear it because I felt comfortable and I didn't want to re-injure it. It was a decision I made to be safe while I'm on the court playing."

The easiest way to fix a backboard that a guy paid to build and he did it wrong, is to remove the Spalding basketball hoop from the backboard. You can then attach it to a new backboard, that is not tilted forward, and you won't have to be sick and tired of a bad backboard anymore.
