Patient has already received three mark 1 kits and their diazepam what else should be done?
The Mark I Kit is used by the US army, it is given as a cure to patients who have breathed in or consumed nerve agents of chemical war. If three of these kits plus one dose of a diazepam injector have been used on a patient and they are still convulsing, two more diazepam injectors at 10-minute intervals should be administered.

What is Alprazolam generic for?
The generic name for Xanax is alprazolam. Most "Xanax" now dispensed by pharmacies is in the generic form of alprazolam (a short-acting benzodiazepine medication, that is more dependence producing than other benzos, due to the fact that it develops its peak concentration in the bloodstream more quickly than other benzos, and also crosses the blood-brain barrier more readily, due to its lipophilicity (or lipid attraction nature).
Xanax addiction and Valium addiction are more common than addictions to all other drugs in their class (benzodiazepines) combined.
_____________________________________________________________________
Alprazolam is the generic name of Xanax. Other North American brand names for alprazolam include:
In the United States: Xanax (alprazolam), Xanax XR (alprazolam extended-release), Niravam (alprazolam sublingual), and alprazolam intensol solution.
In Canada Xanax, Xanax TS, Apo-Alprax, Apo-Alprax TS, Nu-
AlprazAlpraz, Novo-Alprazol, Alti-Alprazolam, Gen-Alprazolam. All these are different brands of alprazolam and Xanax TS and Apo-Alprax TS are 2 mg alprazolam tablets.
In Mexico Tafil and Alzam are brand names for alprazolam.
It is rare for Pfizer brand Xanax to be dispensed in North America but in many countries in Europe brand name Xanax is extremely common and cheap.
I feel I should address the misconception that Xanax addiction and, according to the other answer, Valium (diazepam) addiction are the most common.
Outside of The US Xanax is not a commonly used drug, simply comparing the most prescribed benzodiazepines between The US and Canada, where prescribing rates are the same is an indicator:
Most prescribed benzodiazepines in The United States
1) Xanax (alprazolam)
2) Ativan (lorazepam)
3) Klonopin (clonazepam)
4) Valium (diazepam)
5) Restoril (temazepam)
Most prescribed benzodiazepines in Canada
1) Ativan (lorazepam)
2) Rivotril (clonazepam)
3) Serax (oxazepam)
4) Restoril (temazepam)
5) Xanax (alprazolam)
Internationally Nimetazepam, Rohypnol (flunitrazepam), Versed, Hypnovel (midazolam), Mogadon (nitrazepam), Restoril (temazepam), Halcion (triazolam), and Valium (diazepam) are the most abused benzodiazepines and many countries have higher restrictions on many of these drugs compared to other benzodiazepines.
In The US Xanax is most abused however the rate of abuse is equal to the number of prescriptions given. This also applies to other benzodiazepines except clonazepam. Clonazepam is the second most abused benzodiazepine in The US with and 50% in crease in abuse yearly. Statistically Xanax is not the most abused on a per capita basis, it is clonazepam. Also Valium abuse and rates of prescription are drooping in The US and Canada.

Is alcohol seroquel and Klonopin mixed fatal?
It depends on how much you do. Me and my friends were all on Klonopin (4 each), yola, and Seroquel (1 or 2) and we killed a 24 pack of Corona and only one of my boys ended up pukin his brains out and that's only cus he killed five beers in like two hours. You just got to know you're limits and DRINK SLOW, cus alcohol intensifies those drugs already. And don't go super crazy on the pills.
But none of us felt like we were gonna die.
How do cholestyramine and colestipol affect breastfeeding?
Cholestyramine and colestipol will not directly harm an unborn baby, because these drugs are not taken into the body. However, the drugs may keep the mother's body from absorbing vitamins that she and the baby need.
Can Valium be taken sublingually?
Short answer - Yes for Instant release pills, No for extended release.
Yes you can, however; it will affect you a little differently. First, it is likely that it will give a stronger effect, due to a lack of what is called "first-pass metabolization" by the liver (some anatomical differences from swallowing it versus sublingual, insufflation, or rectal administration). Second, it is likely to last a shorter period of time, an hour or two less. Third, while the pill is bound with glucose and other sugars normally, amphetamine itself is rather unpleasant tasting.
No.
Buspirone (brand name Buspar) is a psychoactive drug and pharmaceutical medication of the piperazine and azapirone chemical classes. It is used primarily as an anxiolytic, specifically for generalized anxiety disorder. Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) gained Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for buspirone in 1986 for generalized anxiety disorder only, and it became available as a generic in 2001.

you ever heard of xanax bars? its a rectangular pill split into four 1 mg sections. so yes. it does.
sry to say this, but no it does not come in 4mg's. It comes in .5mg/1mg/2mg/3mg. The one the guy above is talking about is the 2mg bars. they have 3 scores on them so you can break them into 4 pieces of .5mg each.
actually im a nurse and pharmacy technician and xanax prescribed generic alprazolam comes in .25mg/.5mg/1mg/2mg/3.5mg and 4mg but each dose is designed depending on the severity .25 is generally given to heart patients .5 and 1mg are given to ppl with mild anxiety and 2mg are prescribed for severe cases and they are regulated to the quanity that can be given the 3.5 are hardly on the market because the drug is so potent and its prescribed in certain situations its not generally given to the public the 4mg is the same way because it is so potent 4mg of xanax would put a person with anxiety even severe to sleep but oncology and hospice are allowed to prescribe it. Its very uncommon though most pharmacies dont carry the 3.5 or the 4mg xanax. 2mg is even a stretch for most doctors because its so widely abused they are restricted to the amount they can prescribe and also insurance veries most insurances will only cover a small percentage and the medication is very expensive my husband is on ssid and he paid 85$ a month for a 60 count 2mg xanax now with the new medicare he has they limit him to 90 per 30 days and they pay 75% of the medication. a 30 count 4mg would run a person close to 100$ and most doctors are within limits to write at that high of a doseage. its hard to even find a 4 or 3.5 in a pdr because of the rarity of the medication, but i know they exist because they hospital i used to work for had them on hand.
What does xanax show up as drug screen?
Xanax, or alprazolam, shows up as a benzodiazepine on a drug screen. If the drug screen has a separate toxicology section, it may show alprazolam metabolites specifically.
If they are testing for BZD's in general will there be any difference as to how each (clono & XANAX) show up on the tox screen?

Is is safe to take hydrocodone and Valium together?
Maybe. There are several factors which will determine if this is a safe combination for any given patient. Diazepam and hydrocodone belong to different therapeutic classes, however there is significant overlap in their side effect profiles (dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, risk of slip-and-fall, others). An elderly, frail patient may be at greater risk of these side effects where as an otherwise young and healthy patient may be better able to tolerate them.
Diazepam and hydrocodone are both prescription medications. As such, they should only be used (singly or in combination) under specific instructions from your physician or other healthcare provider.
How long does Valium stay in the body to show up on an Urine test?

Is it safe to take Ativan and haloperidol together?
yes, Ativan is the only benzo that won't get stronger from tagamet. So, you don't to worry.
If you ate 5 mg lorazepam with beer what will happen?
You can stop breathing! DONT DO IT! ALCOHOL AND ATIVAN can put you into a coma. REMEMBER KAREN QUINLIN?
Xanax, otherwise known by its chemical name Alprazolam has an oral bio-availability of 80-90%. That means that 80-90% of the drug is absorbed into your system when you swallow the pill.
You CANNOT insuffulate (snort) Xanax (Alprazolam); this drug is not water soluble meaning your nasal passage will not be able to extract the drug and enter it into your system, your only hope is that the nasal drip reaches your stomach which is redundant as taking them orally goes through the stomach anyways.
I would say the insuffulated bio-availability of Xanax is around 1-5% (this is a crude estimate). The oral bio-availability of 80-90% is REMARKABLY high (IV injection leads to 99-100%).
Xanax also kicks in very quickly, one of the fastest onsets of any drugs I've ever taken, and snorting it relies on it going through the stomach as it won't be picked up nasally so your actually looking at waiting more time when snorting it. Not only that you won't feel a thing (unless you are having a psycho-somatic placebo reaction).
Many people here say, "No, don't do anything unless the doctor tells you to" and "Never take it other than directed". I am not one of these people.
I am here to tell you, no you can't because it doesn't work, it won't get you buzzed, and the pills have a high bio-availability and work quickly anyways.
Can you take Ativan with diazapam?

Can you take unisom and Xanax?
That's not good. That would be two antihistamines and a respiratory suppressant. The active ingredient in unisom is an antihistamine...it makes you sleepy as a side effect. That's too many sleep agents.
Can you take Valium and paracetamol together?
I think you can take them together provided that its in appropriate doses and you're not allergic to either of them. There is a medication called Tylenol PM that combines both paracetamol and diphenhydramine (benadryl) together. Hope this helps.
Yes it can, considering the standard dosages are from between .25 and 2.0 mg. You could either die from the actual overdose, or you could find yourself choking to death trying to swallow 115 pills (and thats assuming your taking the 2mg pills). If your stuck with the really weak ones (.25mg), you could find yourself trying to choke down 920 pills!!
Is there a difference between generic Valium and brand name Valium?
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE EXCEPT PRICE*. Tylenol is just a brand name (McNeil Labs) for acetaminophen. Acetaminophen is acetaminophen, whether it's brand name is Tylenol, Datril, Panadol, Valorin, or approx. 60 other brand names. The same goes for aspirin. Aspirin is aspirin, whether it's brand name is Bayer, Emprin, ZORprin, or approx. 20 other brand names. By law, generic medication MUST have the exact same active ingredients than do the brand names. Many people believe that generics are not as good as the brand name, but when you buy a brand name medication you are paying for the NAME, and all the expensive commercials. The only other difference is how it is COMPOUNDED, meaning how it is put together. Every company must use the very same chemical ACTIVE INGREDIENT in a generic vs the brand name. *The only thing that can vary are the inactive ingredients that hold the pill together(how they are compounded.)
