The song is about a choice. You can chose knives (as in hurting yourself), or pens (expressing yourself though rights). It is the choice that the lead singer Andy Six describes. He chose pens and started writing lyrics, which is how 'Black Veil Brides' were formed.

Pan's new album was released with the three songs he stole from Black Veil Brides, which automatically gave him all rights to the lyrics and titles, there-for causing Black Veil Brides to rename these three songs and make changes to the instrumentals and lyrics. Funeral In Flames became Beautiful Remains, with a few lyrical changes. Alive And Burning became All Your Hate and Kings Without Crowns became Sweet Blasphemy.

The BVB star is actually 5 of there BVB symbols in a circle. and it doesnt have the lines connecting the points and crossing on the inside. its just a pattern that represents BVB. Nothing satanic at all. Their atheists so they dont believe in god or satan, so why would they have a satanic penagram as their symbol? If you listen to the LYRICS of alot of their songs its very positive and not 'evil' or satanic in any way.
