Can you drill holes into a brake-less BMX frame to attach brakes?
Technically yes but I really wouldn't recommend it, I don't remember what company makes them but I know you can buy little clamp attachments to put a rim brake on bikes without bosses.

How do you start at a gate in bmx racing?
On a BMX gate there are 8 places for a rider, called lanes 1 to 8. The metal gate is hinged at the bottom and usually operated by a pneumatic ram. The riders are given a lane number, this is usually picked at random by computer in the motos (heats). Riders try to balance at the gate with the front wheel resting on the gate. The gate has audio instructions which are synchronised with a set of traffic light type lights. The When the start button is pressed the audio says something like ready riders, random start, watch the gate. There is then a short delay of 1 to 3 seconds and the lights light in quick succession along with a beeping sound which takes less than a second and the gate drops. The aim is to get out of the gate as quickly as possible and attempt to be the leading rider around the track. Find your local BMX racing club and have a go, you will love it.
An internal headset is a headset where the cups that make up the bearing races sit inside the head tube w/o protruding, making them almost visible. They need a fairly thick head tube to be used. For bikes with narrower head tubes the widest parts of the bearing cups mushrooms out over the head tube.
Was bmx invented in australia?
No.
It's generally agreed that it was invented in the USA, although undoubtedly kids and young adults had been ridng and jumping bikes pretty much all over the world long before the BMX was formally invented.
How if dont have holes for brakes on your mongoose bmx?
Then it's probably intended for vert/flatland or some other form of trick riding where brakes generally aren't used. Depending on if it has a brake bridge in place or not it might be possible to drill it for brakes. You won't have any cable stops so you'll have to run full cable sheaths all the way from the levers.
If you want to ride it in traffic or race it you might be better off selling it/trading it for another bike.
What is better a 9t bmx freewheel or a 14t bmx freewheel?
It's not really a question of better, more of different. What decides how fast the top speed of the bike is, and how nippy it is off the start is the ratio between the tooth count of the crankset, and the tooth count of the freewheel. With a smaller freewheel you can have a smaller crankset, a slightly lighter bike and get the same feel of the bike as with a bigger crankset and a bigger freewheel.
How do you measure bmx spokes?
Best way to get the diameter is by a vernier caliper. To get the length, unscrew one, hook the bent end over a ruler and see wher the threaded tip ends up.

Will a 20x1.95 fit a 20x1.75 tire?
20x1.95 what? if you are referring to both tires trying to fit on your rim then they should both work. if your rim size is 36H then definitely yes, there is nothing more than a minor difference in the sizes.
So my answer is YES!
How do you work out sprocket sizes for bmx?
Divide your rear sprocket into your front sprocket. Like 25x9. 25 divided by 9 = 2.77. so 2.77 to 1 is the drive ratio. If you go with a smaller sprocket like a 24 in the front but still a 9 in the back, you are lowering the gear ratio to 2.66 to 1. So your bike will be slower but easier to pedal.
If you go with a 25 in the front and a 10 in the back, you end up with a 2.5 to 1 ratio.
Don't confuse gear ratio with gear inches, that's a calculation including the wheel and sometimes the circumference of the tire.
Why does the front wheel of your BMX bike move like its loose when its tightened as tight as can be?
I would suspect that there are problems with the hub. Even if it the quick release or nuts are tights, loose bearings will cause the wheel to wobble or feel sloppy.
Is sandy loam dirt good for bmx jumps?
Yes sandy loam will work well for a bmx jump just remember if your making small or ever larger dirt jumps you need a good foundation and supports throughout the jump. I've found very helpful that if your jump is under 4 feet tall that stacking even cut logs like a pyramid will work. after that pour a lot of dirt over it, and ALWAYS pack in the dirt very well.
Will the rims on your bmx wear if you put brakes on them?
A little, but not really enough to worry about.
If you ride when it's muddy and/or dusty, then rim brakes will cause a bit of wear on the rims. But it'll take thousands of miles before the rims are used up.
Only thing is that if your rims are colored, you can wear through into bare metal along the brake track fairly soon.
No.
First there are differences between intended usage, a race bike is lighter and not as strong as a vert/dirt bike. Then there are difference between brands, some preferring certain characteristics, other preferring something else.
That's a BMX, and there's not a lot of difference between forks for those. AS long as you get the correct steerer tube length, any BMx fork would give you a rideable bike.
