You don't have to clean it anymore. Use an oil and massage it. You can use vitamin E oil, emu oil, BioOil, jojoba, or a similar oil.

You aren't cleaning it right. Use a pinch of natural sea salt in a shotglass of warm water. Soak for 5 mins 2-3 times a day. Some people just have more "ear cheese" than others. If its bad, just stick to wearing metals. Plastics and organics are very porous and trap water and dead skin cells which causes the smell. If you do wear plastics, clean them often and thoroughly. You can also try different fragrant oils to make it smell better.

Piercing your nose yourself leaves you with a huge risk of infection. If you get even a slight infection, your immune system will be compromised and you'd have an increased chance of getting pneumonia. But you won't get pneumonia directly from piercing.

If you don't want it at all, just remove the jewelery and let it heal back. Just be extra sure that you don't want it! It's a little early to give up on it so just try to stick it out a bit longer!

It is best to stick to pure metals like surgical steel until the piercing is completely healed. Wearing silver or plated metals could cause a black discoloration and the impurities leech out. If allowed to heal with these metals in, the skin can become permanently stained. After it is healed completely, however, it is perfectly ok to wear sterling silver jewelery.

Guns are usually 18ga or 20ga. Needles are probably 16ga but they might be 18ga.

Most likely the dents will be from your teeth and this will be happening because your tongue is swollen at times.
