You do not swim with a broken clavicle. You use your hands, legs and body movement. Under no circumstances should you use a broken clavicle or an intact one, yours or anyone else's to swim.

How do you know it is not broken? Even Doctors will not say something is not broken without an X-ray as it could be a small hairline fracture. If it is not causing you any major problems then reat and if it has not improved in a few days go to hospital.

The break itself would not cause a fever but an infection as a result of the break could lead to a fever.

It depends on how serious the fracture to the vertebrae is. I am making my way through recovery right now, the hospital staff had done many tests. If it is more than 50% compressed, you will need surgery to replace the bone. If it is less than 50% you will most likely be able to get through the recovery with a neck brace.

Is this roughly in the middle above the exhaust pipe near the back axle? i just bought a lanos on the weekend, looks like a dodgy weld broke causing the rear heat guard to rattle around when the engine rev's low, sounds like metal scraping on metal correct? simply bent a steel U-clamp around it and fastened tightly and haven't had a problem since
